I wish they'd go slower with the camera work when showing the houses. They wizz all over the place.

The plastic surgery is getting ridiculous. Mary has overdone it, Chelsea's eyes are diagonal now, Crishelle also too much filler/botox and Emma never eats.

The two younger new ones are more natural but they'll probably go the same way.

I feel with this series with the fires and the burglary, that the realilty of massive unequality in LA is starting to show. They keep talking about needing to feel safe and made a point of the panic rooms in one of the houses.

I thought Chrishelle was doing Emma a favour giving her tough love over her toxic boyfriend.
I like Amanza, but she's not in it much.

Just finished episode 8. I think Chelsea won that round with the flowers. It was more appropriate to send flowers than text in that instant. Very interesting at the end how Jason was saying ‘stop filming’ as they stormed off. Chelsea was right in saying that now they’d got the content they didn’t want anything else filmed. She’s not my favourite on SS but she’s definitely changed for the better this season.
I couldnt believe it when Jason casually gave Mary a Rolex seemingly out of his pocket to replace her stolen one. He’s very fond of her.
I’m always fascinated when they go to these houses with highly polished floors that the girls can walk without slipping in their impossibly high heels.
It’s a different world isn’t it.

I think Mary’s sniffing is due to a coke habit. She does a bit of gurning at times too like druggies do which is no mean feat when your face is full of filler and Botox. She has always appeared very fragile and I couldn’t believe she’s actually Vice President of the O Group as well as an associate realtor. She always seems to be hairs breath away from a full blown nervous breakdown. There was nothing nice about the way she behaved with Chelsea which was totally OTT. When she went running out when the flowers arrived I thought something nasty had been written on the card.

I did used to like Crishelle even if her name made me think of toilet paper but she has really become a mean girl. She acts like some sort of Queen Bee and I think she thinks she can do what she wants because of her previous relationship with Jason. Which, to fair seems, to be the case as it was Nicole who was booted out not Chrishell.

Yes she was right about Blake and Emma really needed to get rid but that’s about it.

Blake’s dad is a billionaire. He is just such a lazy man child.

7 episodes in… Chrishell is right about Blake, he is extremely irritating and controlling so she is doing the right thing for Emma.

Chelsea looks completely gorgeous in the bits they filmed before, then she looks all puffed up with weird eyes in the “sofa chat” bits. She seems much nicer now and Mary’s reaction to the flowers was OTT. Mary was jittery before the flowers arrived - she panicked when the doorbell rang and she had been bad tempered with Romain before that. I agree with other comments that she’s on coke and wonder if a few of them are and that’s why Chrishell was jumped on for what she said to Nicole about being on drugs.

Bre is adorable to look at - love her trouser suits. The sister conversation was so staged and fake though.

Lovely to see Heather again, I miss her, she was funny.

Chrishell and Mary have unfollowed each other on IG. I still like Chrishell but she is very different these days. I think the culture of the office has changed her, as in if she had joined another agency without the TV element I think she would have been perfectly sweet and popular and good at her job. Because she’s had to fight her way through Christine’s bullying, Chelsea’s initial negative view of her, the divorce and Davina being catty etc she is now permanently defensive and ready to bite. I thought she was more mean girl in season 8 than 9 but I still have more episodes to watch so might change my mind.

I finished watching it, can't wait for the reunion.

I definitely agree Crishell has changed since she first arrived and not for the better. She did talk about her difficulty in getting pregnant and in her 40s it's not going to be easy. Also there is the problem of her wife (is that the correct term for a non binary married partner?) living in Australia.

I wonder if they brought in Sandra to stir up trouble, as other new girl Alanna seems to stay out of all the drama and is concentrating on her career.
Especially as Chelsea/Emma/Chrishell mentioned Sandra had only just got her license and she doesn't seem to have any experience whatsoever. I do wonder about the car keying - pretty crazy.

I agree about Mary being totally on edge and I noticed the nose sniffing. When she was talking about leaving, Jason should have told her to take a few months off to recover.

I think they all do drugs (Amanza seemed to say this at one point).

Just finished the season and wow, what is going on with Chrishell! I quite liked her in the beginning, but she just seems like a really bitter and unhappy person now.

Finished it all this evening as well as the reunion. Blimey. I have changed my mind about Bre, she’s a piece of work throwing the flowers away and egging on Mary rather than calming her down. I thought it was terrible to bring Nicole on to have another go at her and try to force her to apologise. Why did Mary get let off much lighter? she was vile to Chelsea.

Chrishell has left the show, I don’t blame her. She may well be tricky to get on with as she has now fallen out with everyone except Alanna. She was right about Blake but she probably shouldn’t have shared so much on social media. Emma is so naive and insecure for such an intelligent and successful businesswoman.

DD and I play a game of SS questions and our answers have completely changed this season:

Wow the Chelsea flowers to Mary dinner was intense. I was backing Chelsea on that one, Mary was really out of order.

So while I absolutely agree Nicole crossed a line and the remark about Crishelles parents was way below the belt - and she absolutely needed calling out on that - I agree with her that until that point the pack bullying and nastiness from the others had just been completely accepted by everyone else. To feel that isolated can’t be easy to handle but (again, not condoning what she said. And actually, how did she think it would get anyone on her side?!!!) I would have found it incredibly difficult not to completely lose my shit also.

Agree trying to shoe horn their sympathies and action after the fires alongside the incredible wealth they are surrounded by feels a bit ick. And if someone like me had rocked up in the office (assuming I could see past the faux hedges 😀) asking to have a property rent free for a while I’m pretty sure they would tell me to jog on!!!

Chrishelle. What. A. Bitch. Thinks she’s queen of the show now. The way she is talking to Emma about Blake. I mean, Back Off already! She is old enough to to make her own decisions, you have said your bit now wins your neck in. If you look back C has been involved in almost every drama since her arrival. Davina, Christine (god I’d love her to come back as Alpha Bitch 😀) and now Nicole. Common Denominator, anyone???!!

I must say that Jason and Brett have supplied some unexpected comedy relief so far. With Hedge Gate and the fancy dress 20s or 40s thing!!

Anyway think we have three more episodes to go. Swore I wouldn’t binge watch (again) and failed miserably!!

I completely agree on bullying Nicole, absolutely vindictive ganging up, led by Chrishell. To the point that she should sue for unfair dismissal if that exists, probably not.

Love the hedge talk, I never know which twin it is but one seems a bit grumpier.

The editing was so bad it pissed me off to watch. The hedges were there when Nicole walked in to get 'fired' and then gone during the conversation? And marys tattoo was all over the place. There one second then nearly gone the next. And I swear to god in the end scene what Bres party it was on a different arm!
