I hope people will be kind if Tom does win. He clearly has had his struggles and it would do your anxiety no good if you won but people were saying they couldn’t stand you (as some have on here)!

I think it's the other way round. They have to think of bakes that work for a garden party of all the bakers and relatives. They've often had them make a picnic but this is a clever way to feed the masses. Not a great challenge of creativity though.

I can’t remember if the winner is purely based on the showstopper? I wish I had some cake to eat now!

Jasmine has been the better baker throughout.

I just feel he hasn’t been as consistently good as Jasmine over the series (or even as good as Aaron). He also came across as over confident, particularly earlier in the series.

I'm glad it stopped raining!

But also he consistently put style over flavour and tortured the theme to fit what he wanted rather than working to the brief.

Jasmine has been solidly good, not just finally pulled it together for the last event.
