The stupid thing is one of my DC loves those French style madeleines and I buy them every time they come home but in my head they are scallop cakes (childhood name).

I love fresh coconut and hate that stuff - to me its always decimated (or desecrated) 😂

I think they probably have to use them because they are more visual. They're not madly practical, they are very heavy.

I have a Kenwood and the bowls have always been stainless steel. I’d vaguely assumed that was the norm for heavy duty mixers.
