He's still right though. They're still fawning over Stephen so he was seen as the leader of the faithfuls.

I wonder how the programme would work if the TV audience didn't know either who the traitors were.

I’d love them to give it a go of one season with this format. Where the audience play as faithfuls, because we don’t know who the traitors are.

May not work, but could become a huge, national Traitors True Crime. Like the Masked Singer but without the shit clues and knowing they won’t have the budget for Beyoncé.

I've never watched it myself but seen it mentioned on Traitors threads, but patently The Mole is a bit like Traitors but the identity is kept hidden from the audience.

Definite shades of Au2 going on with Teflon Wossy.

Next episode, Wossy will come down to breakfast wearing a cowboy hat and call himself the Sheriff.

Yee-hah! 🤠

Lucy "shall we just split it down the middle?"

A man says No.

Then Nick suggests they split it downs the middle to form teams - and everyone agrees!

Why am I thinking of the Paul Whitehouse and Harry Enfield's football manager's sketch??

Edited

Yes I noticed that

DiscoNights · 24/10/2025 00:46

I’m another one who felt very uncomfortable with Joe’s behaviour. He thinks he’s so clever and he has a triumphant look on his face when he thinks he’s found a traitor. Why was he not called out over doing this to Mark (think it was Mark) previously, and getting it wrong?

CatAndHisKit · 24/10/2025 00:48

Why on earth has Stephen not voted for Jonathan?? Makes no sense he chose David who no one else chose this time so knew David would be safe - yet Stephen named Jonathan and 'possibly Mark' when talking to camera, and he knew his own count is going up so why not try to save himself and vote J off? Shame he's gone.

Never heard of it. Will check it out.

I do agree she’s amazing and thinks fast, hence not being sure if she was telling the truth. Thanks for the update.

Quite possible it’s both. She was telling the truth about the human interaction being exhausting AND it’s because she gets back later than the others after Traitor’s Tower.

Or she may have just been pretending to nap on the window-seat so she could overhear conversations 😉

Her lying straight into the eyes of mischievous Grand Dame Celia was supercool.

itsraining2024 · 24/10/2025 04:36

Joe M is a bully tbh. The way he gets aggressive and smirks. He tries to intimidate but looks like a bully. Whenever someone votes for him the look on his face is hysterical. I hope he goes soon because his passion for winning isn’t very polite. It is a game but there’s no need to be so aggressive and rude.

i enjoyed uncloaked so much but cant believe we have to wait til next wednesday!

The Mole is really enjoyable as you are trying to guess along with the players. But on the whole I think I prefer Traitors.

bluevalley · 24/10/2025 06:27

Astonishing Jonathan keeps skating through those round tables. I was hoping he'd stick with his original vote on Joe M, and it would go to a revote. Stephen Fry was very funny in his reactions on Uncloaked.

Lampzade · 24/10/2025 06:42

Cat Is very clever and sharp . Tbh I don’t actually think that she was wrong using her ADHD and autism as the reason for her tiredness . There is probably some truth in what she says .
Joe really annoyed me . Just came across as a big bully in my humble opinion

David should be given an honorary degree from the Stephen Fry University for his expertise in arse licking .

Really loving this show . Totally hooked

dayswithaY · 24/10/2025 07:30

Now that Lucy has named Jonathan as a traitor I think she will be murdered, remember what happened to Ruth and Clare?

If Nick survives he needs to work with Joe M and possibly Celia as the others are just clueless.

I don’t find Joe intimidating, he’s just playing the game. It must be frustrating, as Joe W said on Uncloaked they don’t listen or take peoples ideas seriously. That is, If you’re actually trying to expose a traitor, rather than just enjoying a holiday in a Scottish castle which some of them seem to be.

Broomcupboards · 24/10/2025 07:38

I find it interesting that unless you knew Cat is ND you wouldn’t be able to tell. There have been few points during group conversations where she looks a little blank that I recognise from my own ND DD but it shows how good females are at masking.
Whereas with ND males on reality shows I’ve always been able to spot it before they reveal it.
excellent show anyway. I wonder what the David/Stephen row was about!
I think Alan will have a lot of heat on him now a few of them have realised and discussed his shield mistake

WeirdyBeardyMarrowBabyLady · 24/10/2025 07:51

If I am right then after this murder there’s going to be eight people left three of whom are traitors. The faithfuls are going to have to get a head of steam up against a single traitor candidate to be sure of getting them out. The traitors should try and split the vote. So have Jonathan gunning for Joe, Cat for Kate and Alan for Lucy for example during the course of the day. Try to set Joe and Lucy off against each other. If they lose Nick (and he is the obvious choice to murder) then there’s only Joe with any realistic skill in spotting traitors. Having said that he seems to be totally convinced that Cat is faithful so maybe she’s the one to point him towards Lucy or Kate.

It’s going to be a fun final tho as I anticipate at least two of the current traitors will be there.

Just had a google about past winners and across all seasons/shows the Traitors have won more...

https://thetraitors.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_Winners#Series_3

Totally expected, the odds are stacked in their favour from the start.

Offmybloodybulbs · 24/10/2025 08:06

I am finding it increasingly annoying as a programme. I think there is a flaw in the game if you don't identify any traitors. I know it's pointless as a faithful strategy as they just recruit, but it makes it so very samey as there is no change in the dynamics and no catharsis of a faithful 'win'. It's possibly a result of the very low stakes for the celebrities, it matters much less for them to win than to have their 'brand' tarnished.

I also feel really sorry for Nico and the young ones generally. I assume he was hoping for some mainstream cross over. But the established household names knifed him before we could get to know him.

I accept I may not be average viewer. My last unpopular opinion is thatvI love the camp missions and fast forward through the round table bit as I hate the baseless arguments.

the80sweregreat · 24/10/2025 08:27

Tricky one with Cat if she was lying about her autism , but she did a song called ‘ the people pleasers ‘ a few years ago around being awkward and I thought back then she was singing about her own experiences.

Tbh I was starting to go off it a bit; having binge watched seasons from various countries initially because I couldn't get enough, it was becoming obvious that the same things keep happening and actually that's almost inevitable, and that includes the gameplay flaws that they need to keep in order to make sure the game lasts long enough. I almost didn't watch this series; I didn't think a celebrity version would be better!

I'm surprised at how much I'm enjoying it, actually, but yes, I don't know how much life is left in the premise (Claudia didn't initially want a second series; she thought it was a great one off but shouldn't be overdone). I didn't really enjoy S3 at all, and that Seer thing backfired terribly.

I also thought Alan was describing Stephen as an old queen, was a bit surprised at him being so rude, and then thought perhaps he was describing himself as the old queen.

No, that was definitely directed at Stephen. Alan is getting more and more bitchy as he gets more and more confident. It could be his downfall.

SmallAngryPenguinWoman · 24/10/2025 08:42

Just thinking this morning...
I think Cat has regularly voted for Stephen on the basis of the big dog theory... will be interesting to see if she now follows through and votes for Jonathan 🤔 if not, I think that's a big clue!

Apparently they had a really bad over the top personal row offscreen the night before, so bad they couldn't use any of it on tonight's. Everyone v shocked. Must've been due to David gunning for Stephen a couple of nights, and the reciprocal 'you're such a genius' comments, being total poisoned arrows in Traitors.

Oh wow, that's fascinating! Would have loved to be a fly on the wall during that one. I can't imagine David having a massive row with anyone, he seems so mild mannered and like he would try to logic his way out of any disagreement
