Just listened to Uncloaked extra on BBC Sounds. They were asked which celebs they'd like to see on future shows and SF said Graham Norton, Hugh Grant and Bill Nye. All would be excellent choices!

LilyCandelabra · 23/10/2025 23:12

Miles behInd on catch up but just had to lol at Cat saying Joe W spoke entirely in lower case!

Is there a place/ website where we can look up the soundtrack?

I haven’t read the whole thread, so someone may already have suggested Shazam?

Young people these days are very keen to disclose ADHD and autism. Even and especially on TV.
But Cat was also being clever.
She's amazing!

I think she said it on. The programme herself didn't she ? When she was talking to camera, that her autism is helping her not give anything away, or something like that.

Appalonia · 23/10/2025 23:14

I'm absolutely LOVING Jonathan Ross on this, he's such a brilliant traitor! 😁

JaneJeffer · 23/10/2025 23:14

Maybe because Joe said you won’t get killed instead of you can’t get killed Alan will be able to blag his way out of it

Oh lord, can you imagine Hugh Grant? He would be fabulous. Though probably very grumpy.

I would expect him to be like his character in Paddington 2 😀

No, she is Autistic i didn't know about her adhd but I did read somewhere she was Autistic.

It’s well known about her ADHD and autism, she has talked about her being neurodivergent for a while in interviews and she’s written songs about it. I’ve been a fan of her music for a while though.

Holluschickie · 23/10/2025 23:16

I am a massive Traitors fan- I have watched all of them- and I do think these 3 are the strongest Traitors ever.
Or the faithfuls are the most useless ever.
How did they all pursue David and then forget about him totally?

Jellywife · 23/10/2025 23:16

They’ll all be tired tomorrow- that’ll be interesting!

Hugh and Bill would both be Ace as Traitors - nobody would believe it was them if they maintained one of the nice but slightly dim or unworldly characters. I think Graham would be clocked as a traitor very quickly (whether or no he was an actual traitor).

Appalonia · 23/10/2025 23:17

Oh they also said they'd like to see a politician on it, but John Bercow ( ? ) ex speaker of the house was on an American version. He didn't do that well as I recall.

I'll eat my hat if Hugh Grant ever does something like this. I listened to his (old) desert island discs recently and he took the complete piss out of it and revealed nothing. Most people are quite honest on it and it was, well, very Hugh Grant ish. Like it's a weakness to reveal you have any emotions.

Enjoyed tonight though frustrating how useless and butterfly-brained they mostly seem to be. Interesting that Joe W was the nearest to sussing out the traitors.

Im so old i have children older than Cat i had to Google who she was,I did recognise a song but I didn't know it was her iyswim.

They all fawn over Stephen disgustingly. ( whom I like off Traitors as an actor).
On Traitors Uncloaked, Claire Balding referred to herself as a Cassandra, then said " Oh Stephen will know who I mean"
Like no one else would know who Cassandra is? Cmon.

All Swifties know who Cassandra is 😊

xsquared · 23/10/2025 23:18

The round table always gets heated, and I don't think Joe M was overly aggressive tonight, he needed to go for it. He is right about JR, and he's frustrated that people are not listening to him and voting for the obvious traitor.

I thought the Faithfuls missed an opportunity with Alan forgetting that he had the shield, but I guess with all the adrenaline and highly pressured environment, they're just too distracted by everything else.

Sad about Mark going because I find David boring. He was hilarious with his "Jonathan Fucking Ross!"

When Nick revealed the chess game sabotage, I let out a "No!", and I do think he'll be the one to be murdered.

Lucy has finally clocked on about Jonathan and mentioned Alan's slip up with the shield so of Nick goes, she can do something with that information.

Alan was I the same room as Nick and Kate when he was explaining his strategy to Kate. He stayed quitlet the whole time, so hopefully Kate will remember that if it's Nick who's gone.

I love UK traitors despite coming late to it because in general reality is not my thing. After this one I’m thinking of trawling through the others (Oz and Ireland?) to fill the gap before the next UK series.

I think its a combination of a really good bunch of traitors (especially JR and Cat) and an astonishingly weak cohort of faithfuls. I just can’t get over how wedded professional performers are to the personas played by their fellows. I don’t think any of the normal groups of faithfuls have made that mistake and I’m not sure if its a weakness of “luvvies” or just a problem caused by having knowledge of their competitors before the event.

But Nick is equally near, except that he thinks Lucy is one of them. He's using a more strategic approach, however. Joe hasn't worked out that denouncing traitors is unfortunately not the way to win.

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · 23/10/2025 22:57

Isn't that was all the faithfuls keep saying though? We need to be harder, meaner etc...
And it's not legitimate nastiness he just knows JR is a traitor...and he is right!

He thinks he knows and he just happens to be right but it's just luck! He doesn't really know.

Ratafia · 23/10/2025 23:26

Rentin · 23/10/2025 23:04

This was the first evening I think the traitors played badly.

Alan forgetting he had a shield was a terrible mistake but I think he should have immediately deflected by saying he didn’t forget but he wondered why Joe so aggressively shouted that at him - his tone was almost like an accusation or declaration of something and others also seemed confused at what he was saying for a moment. Joe is behaving very aggressively and since Alan is going for the whole “it’s a game and I get the giggles” thing, I think he could have turned it round with some quick thinking.

Cats whole “I think it’s Jonathan or Stephen because of the big dog theory” is getting a bit old and obviously that has to stop now but every time she’s asked at the table it’s as if she hasn’t even considered the question.

I feel a bit like I’m going mad with Joe. DH doesn’t know what I mean but I find him really aggressive and intimidating lately. He keeps doing that weird creepy smile at people and his body language is like someone who is about to start a fight. His whole demeanor makes me feel uncomfortable. I didn’t like Ruth at all but Joe is behaving much worse this week.

i also do not know why Joe didn’t have more heat on him after he pushed so hard that it was Mark last night. I think Joe W getting murdered could have been swung as him picking his best friend to throw people off him.

I think they need to kill Nick and then turn everyone against Joe and they’re sorted.

The fact there’s still no traitors out is hilarious. They’re absolutely useless. I was secretly hoping Jonathan would get banished and they’d recruit Nick just because Joe’s eventual reaction to finding out Nick was a traitor would have been very satisfying.

On the other and, Joe is more realistic. When Kate was disposed to get all sanctimonious about how the traitors should feel ashamed, he pointed out to her that they were only doing exactly what they're supposed to do.

Wacadu · 23/10/2025 23:27

Jonathan is going to have to pretend that he did the same as the others on the chess board when he gets to breakfast in the morning. They will grill him to make sure the stories match.

fretaway · 23/10/2025 23:28

Nick should not have revealed he sabotaged the task, I don’t understand why he did that!
He could have made an agreement with Joe about voting for Jonathan - Joe was dead set on him being the traitor so he should have picked up on it to make the numbers up. Quite a few were thinking it but they voted for someone else!
Flipping hopeless. Even Cat said she was trying to help them and they didn’t notice.

Pretty sure Nick will cop it now. Just hope they have the numbers to banish Jonathan or they figure Alan out. There’s only going to be weak Faithfuls left.

maudelovesharold · 23/10/2025 23:28

I wouldn’t bank on her putting 2+2 together. Although I would be pleased to be proved wrong!

C8H10N4O2 · 23/10/2025 23:28

JR is obvious to us because we know he is a traitor. Joe doesn’t, he just suspects.

Joe is equally belligerent about those he suspects who are faithfuls. His “logic” about Jonathan is that each team must be “led by a male big dog”. He was the originator of that piece of nonsense. The logic of “clever well known person” would equally apply to Claire but he didn’t consider her as a big dog - why would he, she is only a middle aged woman.

More importantly when one person behaves like that others tend to shut up. If you really want to get a discussion going and get new ideas you don’t behave in a way that closes off other ideas. David and Nick are both more effective, despite David nearly going out because they listen and influence.
