It increases your chances of identifying a traitor and buys time more faithfuls. Its what I would do as a faithful in the game although I’d rather be a traitor 😊

Sorry to be dense but how does it buy more time for faithfuls? There will be the same number of faithfuls left either way?

mydogisthebest · 23/10/2025 22:32

Really disliked Joe M tonight. So aggressive and nasty. I was really hoping he would be banished. Jonathan should have written his name

Appalonia · 23/10/2025 22:32

One big difference between this and the non celeb version, is how often, when pp vote others off, they're really flattering about them.

God I love Alan! The way he punctured pompous Stephen Fry " old queen". But he messed up with the shield. Cat is brilliant too..Yes, use your ADHD.

I am surprised nobody picked Lucy for weakest player. She will likely win
Nick has cocked it up now with his stupid sabotage thing. Will likely be murdered.

I loved the old queen remark as well 😂

The fawning over Stephen Fry is 🤢

Holluschickie · 23/10/2025 22:33

They all fawn over Stephen disgustingly. ( whom I like off Traitors as an actor).
On Traitors Uncloaked, Claire Balding referred to herself as a Cassandra, then said " Oh Stephen will know who I mean"
Like no one else would know who Cassandra is? Cmon.

ZXZXZ6789 · 23/10/2025 21:34

Lucy "shall we just split it down the middle?"

A man says No.

Then Nick suggests they split it downs the middle to form teams - and everyone agrees!

Why am I thinking of the Paul Whitehouse and Harry Enfield's football manager's sketch??

Edited

Jacky Fleming for me: "That's an excellent suggestion Miss Jones - perhaps one of the men would like to make it"

littlbrowndog · 23/10/2025 22:35

Jeez Stephen so mean on Allan

don’t forget Stephen he is still there and you are not

On Traitors Uncloaked? I haven't watched that yet.

Mark is still overacting

I honestly think it is his personality, he is an actor and some just .a bit much.

TraitorsFan · 23/10/2025 22:37

I also thought Alan was describing Stephen as an old queen, was a bit surprised at him being so rude, and then thought perhaps he was describing himself as the old queen.

Sickdissapointed · 23/10/2025 22:39

Alan could have dropped a big changer -forgetting he had a shield. Who would forget that? Unless they didn’t need it…..
ps please don’t kill Joe Marler.

Gingercar · 23/10/2025 22:39

I’m surprised that people didn’t notice Allan’s face lost its silliness when he called SF a big old Queen (takes one to know one!). Sometimes when the giggles stop you see the real Allan. But nobody notices yet. Same with the forgotten shield. Like his whole team got shields. It was the biggest thing of the day. That should have stuck out like a neon light!

Cat using the neurodivergence was clever, as they can’t really bring it up again or discuss with the each other without seeming prejudiced, even though it’s a really valid point that the Traitors must be tired, if they do actually spend a lot of time deciding (I wonder if they really do, or if it’s all actually fairly quick!)

It’s not the deciding - it’s the additional turret filming and extra cut aways that they do. Must be quite a gap after they all finish the post round table.

But I bet round table is mid afternoon and they black out the windows so that the post round table looks like 9/10pm. All for spooky effect.

I just think he was trying to be funny gay man to.gay man because Stephen said something about the King chest pieces, I appreciate that stephen fry isnt camp like Allan but I think it was just a joke.

There will be more protected faithfuls for another night to discover the traitors so you buy time and limit the options of the traitors. Every murder tells you a bit about the traitors. Ideally you would stuff the other team with your most definite faithfuls.

The teams are small, if the teams were large this probably wouldn’t add much value. Its not foolproof but definitely worth a try and considering the dismal performance of the faithfuls definitely worth playing.

Nick’s problem is that he is a smart gamer playing with mostly non gamers. Revealing what he did was a massive error in this audience, he really shouldn’t have done that.

I can’t remember from the last time if the game where they see a traitor face to face was a game of skill/chance or if the traitors actually pick the victim. Obviously neither side would have anticipated that when working out the quiz strategy.

He needs to make point more forcefully that if he was a traitor he would not have revealed that ;if he survives tonight)

scissy · 23/10/2025 22:43

In the last series it was a game of chance (the traitors just picked 4 people to "play").

TeachesOfPeaches · 23/10/2025 21:58

Why does everyone think Stephen Fry is a genius?

From reading his brilliant novels! I wish he'd write another...but it's been 25 years ...

Gingercar · 23/10/2025 22:45

When Alan forgot he had a shield Joe just shook his head and said I give up. Yet all that evening he’d been like a jack Russell with a rat at everyone else’s slips. It just didn’t make sense to me that he just laughed that away. The mood he was in he’d have been straight onto it, pushing.

PuppyMonkey · 23/10/2025 22:46

I was really hoping that after having to remind Alan he had a a shield, Joe would later say to everyone, actually, that same thing happened a few weeks ago when I had to remind Jonathan he had a shield….hmmmmmmmmm

applesandpinkoranges · 23/10/2025 22:46

I think the reason they haven’t suspected Cat is because she isn’t as famous as the rest /they haven’t heard of her before so she’s just going under the radar. It’s obvious there will be a young traitor in the mix and she’s the only one left.

Yes he does. He also needs to explain a bit of game strategy to the non gamers.
The traitors have the most control in this game, the only hope the faithfuls have is to work to reduce and constrain that control and force them to move in ways which make errors. Otherwise the set up will always favour the traitors.

They just shake their head and say ‘that’s just Alan’

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · 23/10/2025 22:47

Was a good episode tonight.

The Failing Faithfuls were handed a clue ON A PLATE when Allan forgot about his shield. What they could have done is said "as a faithful, I'm going to vote Allan and I think all the other faithfuls should too as who would forget they have a shield?"
And then it would have been very interesting to see if a traitor also put allans name otherwise they'd put themselves as a traitor by not following the crowd.

Yep, I think this lot are the most locked into stereotypes I’ve seen. I’m quite glad Stephen has gone as the arselicking was getting almost as tedious has his benign acceptance of it as the natural order of things.
