I cannot stand the constant clapping through nearly every dance

Awww I loved that for Ellie!

She just loves dancing. Her whole being lights up.

Sorry Ellie but didn’t enjoy that, too clumpy in those awful trainers and wild arms etc. I feel mean but it wasn’t great. The kids will love the K-pop song though.

I'm sure that this has already been said many, many times (I don't watch strictly regularly but dip in) but I remember when the couples were scored honestly at the beginning. It's kind of pointless when they get 9/10 so early on, where are they supposed to go?

Also, has Craig had some kind of laser treatment? You could project movies on his forehead.

I think Ellie is a joy to watch. Fearless.

I long since stopped paying attention to the judges scores.

That dance wasn’t my cup of tea - music or choreography - but I do love the joy in Ellie’s dancing and she brings it every week.

This might be it. I’ve always thought she comes across as a bit over earnest in the VTs and chats with Claudia. I’d assumed it might be that she’s a bit more introverted than some of the others but you might be right that she’s just very much in her musical theatre mode.

Her upper body looks good, but her legs and feet don't match up in quality for me.

Chris last season was fearless. She's having fun :)

Great energy but she does struggle to keep in time with the music.

I didn’t love the dance, but I do love how joyous Ellie is every time she dances.

Very exuberant and she has so much energy, but it was not quite in sync and a bit clumsy in places. Should be safe though.

They were having a lot of fun and it was joyous. Maybe technically not the best, but there was good musicality. Good partnership.

I agree it was lots of flinging arms around but it was her couples choice and she just danced around so joyfully! It was like minimal choregraphy!

Ellie looked like she was having the best time, which does make me enjoy dances more, but it lacked a lot of polish and felt clumsy in places. She was loads better last week. There are only a handful of CCs I like and none of them are from this series so far.

I like Ellie but not sure that dance should be4th on the leader board

I feel that Karen & Carlos had a graceful, well executed dance that was full of content. I'm really not in any position to judge, but they seemed criminally undermarked.

She's completely uninhibited and unselfconscious. So joyous to watch even if technically off at times. And Vito is her perfect partner - treating her like his favourite little sister.
