@PinkboxI agree. Cheeky, giggly Alan is good to watch and a lot of fun but I also get undertones of unkindness from him

JewelleryCat · 23/10/2025 20:39

Some websites I’ve just googled say the cast stay at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel airport. I think that’s the same for normal Traitors and this Traitors

What happens when a tie occurs?

It’s never happened before.

JewelleryCat · 23/10/2025 20:46

@placemats when a tie occurs, as you saw from last night, the people get a last chance plea, everyone else votes excluding the two people who are tied and usually that’s the end of it, someone else has more votes

What happened last night is unprecedented and never happened before with a second tie

I find it quite funny that a “bunch of luvvies” seem so wedded to very dated stereotypes of women and alpha males.

Privileged white Stephen Fry is automatically a “big dog” and “too nice” to be a traitor.

Cat is largely overlooked altogether like Lucy - young, female and not loud.
JR is most likely to be a traitor because let’s face it - he’s clever but he’s a bit of a loud common oick not like that nice public school Fry.

Claire was largely overlooked despite being as well educated and qualified as Fry and her success in competitive fields - but hell, she is an older woman. She would have done well as a traitor playing on older woman invisibility.
Alan is just soo lovable and non alpha that he couldn’t possibly be a traitor.

You couldn’t make up the extent to which they are all relying on stereotypes despite so many of them being professionals at presenting fake stereotypes and card carrying social liberals.

I agree with this.
I’ve watched all the Traitors programmes from the beginning and people really do fall for stereotypes. Look at Leanne the ‘Nail Technician’ from last time, who was afraid of heights…….

A couple of times when Alan has dropped the act and played the game, he’s seemed a bit close to the bone. What I mean is, he’s almost sounded unkind. I’m thinking of when he told someone at breakfast what would happen if they come for him and then the last couple of round tables where he’s accused people. It makes me wonder if Alan being serious is actually not the nicest person in real life.

He was like that in the car before the round table, saying he was going to say Mark’s name and he’d not tell him why until they were all at the table. Then he turned back and said “but you aren’t going to like it”. He sounded quite Dufy and a bit sinister.

I was cabin crew for over two decades. I met quite a lot of famous people. Some of the ones that you would think would be lovely really weren’t.
Never met any of this lot though, and never heard any rumours about them either.

dayswithaY · 23/10/2025 21:00

They need to start working as a team and by a process of elimination just whittle them down until they get a traitor.

They all seem to be floating their own theories, not listening to others then getting easily swayed at the round table. Maybe because they are celebs and not used to other peoples opinions. I also think lack of a prize fund changes peoples motivation, this lot are acting like they’re in an escape room.

I am convinced that some faithfuls have totally worked out who the traitors are but are holding back in order to kill off some faithfuls and get nearer to the end. If you catch a traitor they just recruit a newbie who gets thrown to the wolves.

They get paid whatever happens so it’s just another job to them. Why can’t they talk to each other and develop a strategy for the round table? Instead of a draw - twice! Start playing the game!

JaneJeffer · 23/10/2025 21:00

Alan needs to act feeling terrible if Mark goes

CarefulN0w · 23/10/2025 21:01

Reporting for Duty. Evening all.

Have had a crazy day today. Hope we get some more action tonight.

I think it'll be Mark. Possibly one of the Joes will get murdered 😫

Sparklesandspandexgallore · 23/10/2025 21:01

I agree there is a nasty, bitchy side to Alan Carr which I’ve never seen before. I believe if a woman, especially some like Lucy or Charlotte behaved like that, then they would be treated quite differently and definitely not as favourably.

Sparklesandspandexgallore · 23/10/2025 21:02

I’d also like to see the traitors win, especially Cat.

WonderfulSmith · 23/10/2025 21:03

Right. I’ve not caught up on the thread so I’m sorry if I go over old ground.

dayswithaY · 23/10/2025 21:03

I think Alan gets a pass cos he’s a comedian and they just think he’s in character.

littlbrowndog · 23/10/2025 21:04

I have broken out my secret stash of marmite crisps for this

JewelleryCat · 23/10/2025 21:04

Well if it’s about Shields then Mark should have gone instead of choosing a chest because David has a Shield

MrsMitford3 · 23/10/2025 21:04

meh this is not a great banishing

ThatCyanCat · 23/10/2025 21:05

Oh meh, there must be a more theatrical way of doing this.

Appalonia · 23/10/2025 21:05

Oh no poor Mark

JewelleryCat · 23/10/2025 21:05

I’ll miss Mark

littlbrowndog · 23/10/2025 21:05

Bye mark

TakeMeToAnIgloo · 23/10/2025 21:05

So this shield is about banishment protection, not murder protection! That’s new

dayswithaY · 23/10/2025 21:06

Big deal they’ll just banish David nx time

lettingthedaysgoby · 23/10/2025 21:06

MrsMitford3 · 23/10/2025 21:04

meh this is not a great banishing

Should have played carrot shield in a box after all...

WonderfulSmith · 23/10/2025 21:06

Bollocks. I didn’t want either to go but I’m not as upset and I would be if it was Nick.
