First day of the WTA finals today. Nice to see Laura and Tim , co-ordinated in black .

Gigi was doing a tour of the changing rooms the other day. All the players get their own (the only place they do). Jasmine gets a choice of 2, since she's on the doubles as well.
Though Gigi has just said she called off a press conference yesterday, because she wasn't well. Which is a worry. She's first up in doubles soon, with Sara.

Of course, Sky being Sky , they aren't bothering to show the actual doubles match- they are still showing interviews with the players from yesterday rather than actual tennis.

I've been score watching the Bublik/Felix match whilst shopping- I really like Felix, and plays brilliantly indoors, but I would love Sasha to get to the final.

Well done to Felix- got to feel for Lorenzo, missing the tour finals. Although , I'm sure baby number 2 is due this month, so perhaps he might be as well staying at home, just in case. (Might have to be around as an alternate though).

This is not much of a match, Sascha is obviously not 100% - and is probably wishing he'd left Daniil to face the onslaught.

A Felix/Jannik final might be equally one sided- although Felix is very good indoors. They are equal in the hth- and have never played indoors- so Felix may have a chance.

I went off to watch Strictly, but I am pleased to see that Jelena and Hsieh Su-wei won their match- didn't look too promising when I left the match.
