I have gone to the red button to continue watching Daniil/Lorenzo. No commentary. But you can hear all the noise from the other court as Sinner and Cerundolo come out. It's really loud.

The spectators are doing their best to drown it out with the cheering

The evening crowd are obviously let in after an extended 'liquid lunch'.

They are much noisier than during the day

1 set all- that set should have been a lot easier to win for Daniil.

Well done Jannik- I didn't see much aof the second set, but it looks like Francisco faded, and Jannik did what he does best in a tight spot and figured out a better game plan.

Was a shame ADF couldn't put up more of a fight, but he's ended the year on a high, a career best ranking.
He hasn't been chosen for the Spanish Davis cup team, which is a lttle odd, and he was asked about it, and I think he does feel a bit slighted by not being selected. I think it is probably because he didn't play the qualifiers when selected, and then Munar/ Martinez played really well.

I would now love Vacherot to pull off another upset and win the whole thing. Or Daniil.
Daniil is playing Zverev later- their matches are always interesting . Daniil has a massive lead in the hth though- and has won 8 of their last 9 meetings.

I’ve see some pictures of Rafa in Japan - it looks as if he’s having a lovely time in Japan with his family (maybe he secretly enjoys dressing up )

It's lovely that they all seem to go on holiday together as a family (not many families can do that without falling out!)
