I saw Kim Clijsters was in hospital the other week with a torn Achilles tendon and she was saying she couldn’t believe it happened during her retirement!

Apparently Djok retired in his match tonight against Taylor. He had lost a tight first set, so not like he was losing badly or anything. But he's already banked the huge cheque for turning up - and he's not going to win the whole thing.

He wouldn't do that, if he was in a normal competition, and getting a huge pay off to take part. I'd be making him give the money back, personally.

Aww, that's lovely. I always liked Diego. ( and his birthday is the same day as Jannik and dd1 ).

I'm hoping Daniil can get his act together and win today- it's been a lengthy dry patch, and another loss might tip him over the edge.

Obviously I want Casper to win too. Will be tough though- even though Ugo was losing to Holger yesterday, he does well at this part of the year and Casper can be a bit shaky.

I am also hoping for Daniil and Casper wins today, although I don’t think I’ll be able to watch much of it. Jiri and Felix are also playing in the Brussels final, which could be a close one.

I tried to watch some of the Six Kings thing last night but the camera angle made me cross. It looks like Jannik won quite easily, although Carlos still had his ankle taped and I’m not sure he wanted to push it too much. Jannik’s serve looked amazing though, he’ll be hard to beat indoors.
