I am watching the Strictly results, and I don't ever post on that thread -scary lot--. (but I do lurk).

I can already imagine the heads exploding over the Minecraft group dance. Lava chicken .

I had to look at the strictly thread after reading your post and it gave me a right laugh

This week it was movie week- and they had dances with music from Demon Hunters and Minecraft- it's a family show, kids watch. But oh my- the comments Obviously , dancing must stick to music that alienates any one who doesn't know Rodgers and Hammerstein .

I love Strictly- but some on the thread seem to forget it's a light entertainment show with non-pros

(I think I last posted on a Strictly thread about 15 years ago- and wouldn't dare say any of that on there - I'm a wuss).

Another week, another tournament ( in Japan/China for the women)- and Linda Noskova still hasn't got a day off .

I only saw a bit of the men’s final yesterday but happy for them both really - just seen a clip of Arthur collapsing at the presentation and his cousin bursting out laughing - that’s family for you - hope they’re all ok and recovered now!

I haven’t watched strictly for a while - I’m old and don’t know who anyone is - I did used to enjoy it - I think I’ll stick to Bake off and Celebrity Traitors

Tennis is just relentless - it just keeps rolling on but then it’s hard to have sympathy when there are silly ‘tournaments’ like the Six Kings Slam nonsense

It really was one of the most wholesome finals (and I hate the word 'wholesome' but it somehow fits) Fizzy. It was like something out of 'You've been Framed' when poor Arthur toppled off the stage though.

I feel like I will get sucked into watching the 6 Kings thing, despite myself. And will curse myself for doing it.

It annoyed me last year, and it will annoy me this year. Just over the top and lacking in any class at all.

Yes it did seem wholesome Raahh - the bits that I’ve seen anyway - hopefully makes up for Djok’s ‘injury’ shenanigans and the 6 King Slam thing - I watched a bit of it last year but it left a nasty taste

DS told me earlier that this 6 kings thing gives a first round bye to 2 players. Alcaraz and Sinner, you might reasonably think, given they're the top 2 players in the world, are way ahead of the others in the year end finals race and have shared the last however many grand slams.

Was score watching Fearnley and thought he'd blown it, having lost both his serves when serving for match in the tiebreak. But no! Well done Jacob!!

Didn't get to watch much yesterday, but was glad to see that Matteo and Marin made it through matches in Stockholm.

But- Matteo plays Casper today , unfortunately. I would like Matteo to end the year on a bit of a roll, but if Casper is going to make Turin he needs to make the most of these last few tournaments.

I think Marin plays Casper Raahh. Matteo is playing Ugo Humbert - also a difficult draw.

I knew one of them did Either way, it's a draw I don't like .

It clashes (I think ) with the first matches on Netflix of the 6 Kings slam . So that solves that moral dilemma .

I think I’ll give the six kings slam a miss - I think I only watched it last year for Rafa (that seems like ages ago - I think it was last year!) but I didn’t enjoy it

How come Stef is playing? Was Holger unavailable (unlikely )

I assume they have gone for Grand Slam winners and finalists

I felt slightly grubby watching it, Fizzy- and felt like Rafa made a mistake being involved.
So, I'm glad to have other things to watch instead.

Yes it made me feel uncomfortable watching it Raahh and Rafa didn’t seem very happy there either (although he does have some Saudi links with his academy etc)

Stef seemed like a bit of an odd choice as he hasn’t done very much for a while but not sure who else was available?
