Here is a list of contestants - many thanks to @paperclipp for the list 🙌💕

• Gani - 39 Pizza Hut Manager. Claimed to be bi but is just gay and misogynistic imo-EVICTED
• Cameron, 22 Farmer friends with Derry Girl Jenny
• Caroline, 56 PR - mates with Nigel Farage, goes by the nickname 'Monkey'
• Nancy, 22 speaks 5 languages
• Marcus, 22 - mixed raced boy who had a mini showmance with Elsa which he ended. Handles himself well.

• Teja, 18 Bristolian, runs a cleaning business with her mum - the youngest in the house
• Zelah, 25, Trans man as of 2 years, will not stop talking about it 🙄🙄
• Emily - 25 Tory events manager looking for a husband - EVICTED
• Tate, 27 shiny buttocks, runs a Buff Butler business. V proud of his Engineering Masters with distinction
• Elsa, 21, influencer (she’s big on TikTok) , sees dead people & has found god. Seems very troubled.
• Sam, 27, uses he/they pronouns. Had a brief run in with George over George mocking his campness.
• Jenny - 20 DerryGirl - havent got a bloody clue what she is saying but love her

Then the newer housemates:

• Cameron B, 25, top shagger, lads lads lads vibes
• Feyisola, 33, former cop, wants a hysterectomy
• Richard, 60, was initially in the house to test it for production, before the show started and then was brought back. Has 50 eyes from a task, and was put up for eviction by Caroline
• George, 23, has been on a few tv shows as an extra. Is a parish councillor. Is not afraid to spout his opinions and the group aren't taking to him very well.

Phew!

Nominations tonight. Richard is already up, having been given the evil eye by Caroline

Oof, that was bad. Though ‘if you had a willy what would you do with it’ was almost worse. The ‘you’re a girl’ was also terrible but was also a knee-jerk reaction to the idea of repopulation. Caroline really just ruined her own experience in there, I don’t think she can come back from that.

Gone right off of Feyisola too. She’s actually quite - what is it, not manipulative, not narcissistic, maybe controlling? She latches onto people’s emotional states and makes them her own. Then controls the narrative about how that other person should feel.

I was going to ask the same. "In vino veritas". Everyone is saying George is a racist and a bigot, but I wonder if Caroline could also wear those hats, but has been better at keeping the opinions to herself until now, and alcohol loosened her tongue.

Yeah, but along with that, she interprets things through that self-righteousness and then tells the other person how they should feel. Which in turn whips things into a frenzy. A self righteous stirrer.

There's something about Zelah that is performative.
He walks around in a slow motion way whilst also being self conscious of his own appearance. But not in a worried way, more in a shallow way like he knows he's decent looking and wearing trendy clothes.
Caroline was bitchy but he was standing in the middle waiting for everyone to hug him.
I can imagine he's be so annoying to work with. Laid back never stressed but everyone else running about.

Have you noticed he always smiles when he is offended.

Agree re Zelah and performativity. Although I suspect that goes with the territory.

Nancy with the pansexualism, though? What the fuck? Do these young ‘uns really get mortally wounded by nothing? I get why Zelah was upset - even if I believe in biological reality, Zelah has committed to what Zelah believes, what with the top surgery and all. And I really wouldn’t have suspected, had Zelah not wanged on about it that Zelah was trans.

She did appear to be a bit drunk and just was generally talking crap about who fancies who before she dropped the bomb.

It was totally cringeworthy - the boys reactions summed it up.

Gen Z really do take themselves so seriously, and this series is highlighting that. I don't agree with what Caroline said - and don't particularly like her - but the horror, hand wringing and Nancy's tears had me mystified.

So did I. Then I had to google what the difference is between pansexual and bisexual and I'm still none the wiser.

Events as they've unfolded is why I find myself feeling sorry for George. He's still very young, and his political views when scrutinised aren't actually extreme; he is by no means far right in the accepted sense of the phrase (ie not the current skewed sense of what far right means).

The gathering in the bathroom after girlgate was interesting/telling. Zelah and Feyisola holding court and setting the ideological tone upon which everyone should adhere (the tone is either with or against, and god forbid anyone have a sense of humour! It would appear laughing at oneself is now socially unacceptable) and the HM's gathered, desperate to fit in and willingly follow. I thought it was interesting that (I'm pretty sure) all of those gathered in the bathroom had nominated George, whilst all the other HM's hadn't.
