I'm watching Krejcikova in Beijing- she started well, but after a couple of wobbly games, Blinkova has started to settle in to the match. Barbora really needs to keep hold of this break.

That first set was over quickly in the end.

I think the courts have been changing for years.
I think the fact we are seeing so many Jannik/Carlos finals, is because they beat pretty much every one else on a regular basis.

Is he suggesting that courts should be sped up so results are more random?Personally I have always enjoyed the slower surfaces more.

Lots of tennis weddings recently- I think Venus got married in the last couple of days too. In some pictures, her new husband looks a bit like Serena's husband. (Well, he has dark hair and a beard ).

Shit, Carlos has hurt himself, looks serious.

Oh no-Carlos has fallen over , seems to have hurt his ankle. The physio is on the court, which is a bad sign if he can't move off it.

He didn't appear to twist his ankle, I hope it's not his achilles tendon.

The replay shows he didn't fall (I was turning over mid point)- he kind of pull up as though something went6 in his ankle. He's had ankle issues before, so this could be a problem.

I could do without the foot close ups.
