There must be a reason we heard John confess everything to Aaron...surely it's so he can tell everyone when or if he survives? Robert did hear the bit about Nate though.

Why didn’t Robert pick up that flipping rock? Not that I wanted him to kill John and end up back in prison just to knock him out cold for a while!

Aaron is going to blame Robert for showing up and he’ll probably think he told John they slept together too.

Nah, John told Aaron that he'd heard his voice note to Mack and that's how he knew Aaron and Robert slept together. Aaron didn't even try and deny it.

I did like how angry Aaron got when John mentioned Jackson, its not the same thing at all - I'm still very protective about Jackson!

Hopefully if the police bother investigating properly (maybe too much to ask of soap police), they'll find Mack's phone, discover the camera feed on John's, and put 2 and 2 together.

Aaron and Robert weren't concerned he was ringing police, annoyed he lied to them. I thought it was a fake call until I heard them answer.

I hope Aaron survives otherwise John won't pay for his crimes and that'll drive me mad.

Sick and tired of John popping up just when you think somebody's going to escape.
Of course Robert will get the blame and Victoria will tell him to "Shoot oop" when he tries to protest his innocence

Aaron will probably lie in a coma until Christmas and in the meantime time Robert gets arrested and Mackenzie dies. Aaron will wake up and tell everyone only for Mackenzie to have died alone in the bunker and Aaron will forever feel guilty for Mackenzie's death.

I think John will survive but will disappear down the bunker thinking Aaron is dead. Then Aaron will come round and reveal all!

Then when Swirling climbs down the ladder John will use the syringe he gave Mackenzie to kill himself thus saving Emmerdale the bother of a trial.

Hopefully Paddy and Tracey will tell the police what they know to support Robert's version of events. Surely the fact there has been a murder/suicide is enough for Paddy to beach his counsellor confidentially rules.

I'm surprised they didn't save all this cliff hanger stuff for Xmas but it would be too long what with Mac down the bunker.
