Thanks all for the laughs and shared sighs! It’s been a hell of a series. It was a perfect final for the 3 best girls who were such close friends to end it together. These girls won in the end!

Helena was bitter to the end - snarky remark about being a good time girl but she put herself in that role.

Harrison must be kicking himself but Toni would not have won it with him. Cach is the real
winner here. I know this makes me a terrible person but Lauren please consider a fringe. 🙈

That was quite a wild interview with Shakira and Harry. Hoping for the best but expecting the worst springs to mind… She is no fool. She’s beautiful and I have no worries about her. Brilliant when someone shouted out to Harry that he was basically only in there because of Shakira.

The best thing about this season is that the mean girls were defeated. The friendship between Yas, Shakira and Toni was so heartwarming.

I'm keen to try out some of these but definitely need something that's not on every night 😂 I can only do that level of intensity once a year (or plus All Stars if I get sucked back in!).

Cach winning made my night. I actually shouted out when they won like I’m watching football or something. My cat was not pleased.

i didn’t even mind Yas and Jamie winning, I just didn’t want Harry winning.

Missed the final..was out for once!

This has been my favourite series ever of Love Island and I'm actually buzzing about Toni and Cach winning. And I'm so glad Harry didn't win. I know, I need to go and get a hobby. But thanks everyone for this thread! It's been great to read whilst watching.

I loved this season & so happy for Toni & Cach! Completely agree with @Picoloangel that the best thing about this season is the mean girls (& Dejon!) being defeated!

Hope to see a few of you again when Big Brother starts in September sometime.

One last time @Picoloangelhas said what I was gonna say so thanks for that and thanks to you all for the glorious threads and fevered debates on this surprisingly gripping season. Very happy with that outcome and with the top three females’ friendship more than anything, but also the best man/male role model winning. More of that onscreen and less of the likes of Harrison and Blu-ergh from hereonin.

Oh and I disagree with the post about Maya not being a good presenter - I think she does a great job of some tricky live situations and balances the script with her opinions well, but mainly it’s a huge relief to no longer have Laura Whitmore killing every moment stone dead. So more Maya, and more LI, and more threads asap!

Looking forward to discussing Big Brother in September.

He told the girl that he was dating that he was going on holiday but instead rocked up in

Hurray!!! I haven't watched the final for ages but I'm glad I did this time. Great result!!

It was great seeing the trio of them up there as finalists. Haven't been as invested in LI in ages or the finalists... ever! Genuinely a top-tier series and could have watched more of it.

Still, I'm happy to have my hour back 😀

It's been an unusual series in many ways but it's definitely brought a spark back into what felt like a dying franchise. Is the key to a successful LI awful OG men and nice Casa lads? Might be a formula they use in the future as it worked so well here. Props to the producers for also casting more normal people instead of influencers.

Some random thoughts from the final: Yas was the true bombshell of the series. Glad Harry got nothing and that Shakira is wise to him. Helena seemed a bit out of sorts and distracted. Alima deserves a second chance with better men. Toni was insanely overprotected by production, but eh, whatever!
