I did think I might have taken Toni's comment the wrong way, however it might have been nice for her to say something too, rather than leave it all to Shakira.

I was most bemused by Mustard's incredulous "whaaaaaat?" at being described as manipulative. I seriously think he doesn't have a clue how toxic he actually is.

I felt sorry for Meg last night

Disappointed Shakira didn't go all in with Connor, think they could have won and they make a great couple.Mug and mustard learn nothing, they are so thick. Part of the reason they're unpopular (other than being fake) is because of goading Helena to go after Shakira's man, then again once she had him she went after the next man to show interest in Shakira, again encouraged by mug and co.
Last night they were fucking jeering when blue took Yas for a chat. They're so obvious in their attempts to break up any other couples coz they know any other couple has a better chance of winning than they do. Their only chance is if they are the only couple in there.
Harry is a walking STD and looks rough as, and I do not for the life of me know why he has any interest from women.

That's a good point about them cheering when Blu pulled Yas! I really hope she doesn't go off with him, I like Jamie.

I'm not quite sure why Conor was crying last night in bed? He was saying something about never having a friend like that before?

The most interesting moment last night for me was Toni telling Helena what Harry had been up to with Shakira and Helena having a split second of empathy for Shakira.

I hope they rush through the rest of the grafties no one needs to see more of that.

Shakira and Helena should just refuse to recouple with anyone and walk out, preferably with Toni too. Then let production scramble for stories for the final week.

I did too actually. Megan gave her input on Meg’s relationship with Dejon and when she replied “But we’re boyfriend and girlfriend now” or something like that, I don’t think she said it defiantly like she usually does in her “them against the world” attitude but it seemed more of a moment of realisation to me. I think the awards and seeing the man she’s in a relationship with and her best friend in there gossiping about her hurt and her guffawing at the pair of them was pure denial in front of the others, and in front of Dejon too I think. Remember Dejon has threatened to change his mind about wanting to be exclusive in the past when Meg has voiced some concerns she’s had. 🚩 Being in the firing line from Shakira and Toni then in one of the clips was just the cherry on the cake of making her cry. I don’t think it was really about those two but more her feeling like she can’t really trust anyone in there.

Maybe I’m giving her too much credit though and she really does think Dejon’s and Helena’s shit don’t stink and that what they have is real and a good thing! 🙈

I think the emotion just gets to them sometimes - the intensity of it in there, the boredom mixed with the extreme drama. Specifically then it felt like Conor had been rattling through the women with the odd bump but nothing deep and then - a bit like Harry - the fact that Shakira thought/felt more deeply about it meant he had to stop for a moment and process actually giving a shit for a minute. They were friends and that meant a lot to her and she didn't want to mess it up with the coupley stuff. He'd been light about that, assuming it'd be fine, and in fact it was as he moved straight onto Megan, but then when he realised Shakira actually cared whether he was hurting or might fall out with her, he had to stop to realise that he's actually going through things with real people and it's not just a game. That's why I think he cried, because he's in bed with someone he cares about and it's weird and quite the headfuck if you think about it for more than 10 secs.

i also hate the awful cheering when Blu pulled Yas. Partly the 'get in there my son' revolting side of it but also how transparent it is that Dejon especially wants other couples to break up. You can see his eyes calculating the odds. Yas should shut it down cos clearly Blu is just a dog on heat and she's reverted to her sexbot facade, whereas with Jamie she'd finally stopped doing all the scratchy nails and shoving away kisses and been more genuinely affectionate.

I feel like I’m really missing something. I don’t like anyone in there this year, Emily was possibly the only nice person.

But I feel that Toni is on another level
of awful and Shakirah all too happy to join in with it. They remind me of proper bullies. Not saying the other girls aren’t unfriendly or can have a bitch (like most women) - but Toni's nastiness can be aggressive and uncomfortable to watch. When she lashed out at Emily and did the fake “boo-hoo” with hand gestures, I just knew she was no good and I can’t shake it. I feel like her every sentence is loaded with malice.

But I’m definitely in the minority, so I wonder what I’m missing and why my red flags are raised so high with her.

I just love how delusional Meg and Helena r in that being exclusive or being someone’s girlfriend actually means something in there … my prediction is that Shakira will go back to Harry once he makes out to her that he ended it with Helena ( and not the other way round ) and the whole saga of LI will be Harry’s redemption. I mean did you see him in the veranda with his head in his hands apparently “ processing “ ! It’s all been a bit of a Harry show I think !

The jeering at Blu pulling Yas for a chat was disgusting. Poor Jamie. Imagine if the other group did that when Harry pulled Shakira for a chat or something, they’d be shouting about it!
Yas would be absolutely mad to go for Blu, really hope she shuts it down or she can wave goodbye to her chance of winning.

I voted Yasmin fave girl but if she goes for Blu I won't be voting for her again. Why on earth she would want him over lovely, gorgeous, respectful Jamie I really have no idea?

These girls all say they want lovely, respectful guys then when they get them seem to get bored and want something else 🙄I am honestly gobsmacked by it.

I really hope she sticks with Jamie but at the next recoupling if Megan and Blu get to recouple first then either Jamie or Ty are leaving dependent on whether he choses Yas or Angel.

That would be disgusting because neither of them deserve to go, especially when Blu shouldn't even be there. He had he chance and was sent home. I really hope it doesn't play out that way but I have a bad feeling about it.

I think the clip of Harry’s flirting with Angel would be the nail in the coffin for anyone seriously committing with him at this point. I know he’s done a lot worse but it just shows how it’s a constant state with him and he isn’t in any condition to commit to anyone. Which wouldn’t be an issue if he wasn’t giving people the wrong idea. If Helena bins him, he might end up back with Shakira but I don’t think she’d risk any real belief in it at this point. She knows what he’s like and just needs to not be around him, like Toni transformed when Harrison was out of the way and no longer messing with her head.

i read somewhere that Shakira wanted to leave this week but the producers talked her into staying so hopefully they’ll ease off on her.

Thanks for the nice comment too. It’s so good to chat about the show on here, however silly and frustrating it can be, it’s still interesting.

The villa dynamics are very much like a US high school drama.

You have Meg and Helena as the airhead cheerleaders along with their jock boyfriends who are viewed as the 'in group', and who appear not to be overly interested in the others aside from watching their dramas unfolding and basking in their own perceived brilliance.

You then have Shakira and Toni who are the indie, quirky girls. They are in many ways just as attractive and intriguing to the popular boys as the cheerleaders, but they're less passive and more feisty, and don't just sit there looking pretty, which makes them too much of a challenge. These girls can sense that they are not welcome by the in group and perceive that as them being seen by them as lesser, and so are likely to develop a bit of a defensive attitude with them. They are also smarter than the cheerleaders, and so may have a tendency to sneer at them a little, especially when the cheerleaders clearly consider themselves to be the most attractive and the coolest.

You then have pretty much everyone else. People who don't see themselves as superior, people who are smarter than the incrowd, and who are generally more decent people. They can sometimes be swept along by the in crowds own hype about themselves, but also admire the indie girls for their sass and spunk.

Megan coming back is going to be interesting, since she is more of the cheerleader type, whilst Conor is definitely not one of the jocks. This could rock the boat a little, especially given the strong friendship between Conor and Shakira.

Megan coming back having watched the show outside is so unfair. A huge advantage. I've gone right off it since they've done that. I also hate seeing Shakira so down. And the horrible jeering bullies.

The only people in there that seem to have a sense of humour are Cach and Toni. Cach have very funny one liners and his handshakes etc. Toni is quick witted. What do Mug and Mustard talk about.

Well that particular poster was blaming mug and mustard for goading Helena into going for Harry and didn't actually blame Helena at all, then goes on to describe Harry as a walking STD and rough as fuck, so not sure why you think he escaped the "hate" 🤔

It was the way Helena went about it, blatantly disrespecting Shakira ie; by whispering in Harry’s ear that she couldn’t wait to ‘fuck him’. Then didn’t she go after someone else that Shakira fancied. Karma’s a bitch.

This whole series has been abysmal what on earth is it teaching young girls on how to go about conducting a proper relationship. Most of the boys have behaved disgracefully in the way they have treated and embarrassed the girls and the girls so desperate for someone let them treat them so with a couple of exceptions. The editing this year has been shameful turning the girls against each other yet again the boys are not pulled up on their behaviour. LI really needs to make some radical changes in the format of the show. I for one would love them to make a show for older contestants now that would make good viewing!

@Empress13 it's not the editing turning the girls against each other. They don't know what the edit is. They are together 24/7 and hate each other because they are different people. There's some of my best friends that I wouldn't be able to live it, this is a really difficult situation to be in. Helena doesn't actually like any of them, just puts up with Meg to have one person in her corner. I wonder has she many friends on the outside.

I don't think I could be friends with any of the remaining girls, possibly Yaz or Shakirah. Definitely not Toni, Meg, or Helena. Megan is too much for me, haven't seen enough of Angel to comment and can't remember if there are any other girls in there 😅
