It makes sense to me that Connor is bottom 3 because Irish people cannot vote from Ireland so who’d be voting for him.

I’m not surprised they are sending Blu in to balance sending in two OGs but it is all about sending Megan back in.

Again Megan and Connor can’t win because unless they have a decent family contingent of ex Pats in the UK even their own families aren’t voting for them.

So Toni needs to get her finger out or the producers won’t have a couples to vote for only M+D. We need a Greg and Amber bombshell otherwise but I’m not sure there is someone in there with the popularity to carry it off like Amber did.

I was someone who previously moaned about Yasmin when she first went in and said she was like a robot but now I’m all for her, I think she’s great. She seems to have come out of her shell a lot since the beginning.

Megan can't win. That would be totally unfair. She hasn't put in the long shift that the others have and has an unfair advantage having seen everything from the outside.

Do people really judge whether they like someone based on where they're from? I get Conor may get a flurry of Irish votes from Irish people, but I can't see people from elsewhere not voting for him as he's Irish 🤷‍♀️

Cannot understand the point in bringing Blu back. There was surely a boy who left who had better connections in there? Can't recall who has left now though 😳

I like Conor and was disappointed to see him in the bottom three. He hasn't acted like a twat and I think he is quite funny and has a bit more about him than most of the boys in there.

I really had my fingers crossed that Mug and Mustard would be in the bottom but sadly not. They get on my nerves so badly.

Hairplug and Helena get on my nerves too. It pains me so much to see how hard she tries to be the cool girl and what a despicable human he is.

I feel sorry for Billykiss as it is so obvious that she has been set up to be dumped by her fellow islanders. Really horrible.

Actually... I've been racking my brain and I can't think of any past male islander from this series that would have been worth bringing back. Ryan, anyone 🤔🤣

Should have just brought in somebody really fit who would ruffle feathers. But that pool has been shallow this year it seems.

I sometimes subscribe to the regional voting thing but it doesn’t track here because surely Americans can’t vote either yet Toni came top and you even say it’s on her to take on M&D.

i think the people who came top last night showed it’s down to personality not region, and Connor isn’t beloved the way he could be because of that wobble with Shakira that made her and the rest of us doubt his genuine chops. I don’t dislike him but that’s different to voting for him positively and I imagine that’s widespread. I also suspect there’s a huge drop off from the most popular folk to the rest where there probably isn’t much in it.

Connor and Megan aren’t likely to win as Megan’s already been voted off once and Connor was just in the bottom. Ditching Shakira for Megan, after being 200% in, and putting her through the mill some more won’t exactly endear him to anyone, though I think he may do it and justify it by saying her barriers were up, they’re better off as friends etc. Which is ofc why her barriers are rightly up.

i don’t see why Jamie and Yasmin couldn’t win if they carry on being sound, or Toni and Cach if that happens in a good way, though I still think Billykiss may stay and complicate that.

in all events, M&D surely cannot win. Surely… ?

Yes people do very much so vote regionally and tribally here anyway but I’d imagine there are very tribal parts of the UK too. But I reckon it is family vote keeping D from the bottom there is nothing endearing about the chap that I’ve seen.

Everybody on here loved conor at first and I doubt the majority are Irish. Support for him has been waning recently though. Most women I know are very taken with an Irish accent and would certainly be a plus!

I wondered if the Dejon vote might be a Christian thing. The church can be good at mobilising, and even though the LI/Lord overlap won't be vast, I don't think the numbers are big in the middle ground anyway, so a small congregation could keep him out of the danger zone, while the likes of Boris who no one dislikes will land in the bottom because he's no one's top choice.

DH briefly dips in and out of LI while I’m watching it, and while claiming it’s a load of old shit. 🙄 Anyway, he was confused why people aren’t a fan of Dejon (love that some of you spell it Dijon btw) and I said it’s because he doesn’t actually watch it. He’s mostly subtle. Or I assume those voting for him see no wrong in his behaviour and would put up with it themselves.

My problem with Yasmin and Jamie winning is we’ve seen 30seconds a week of Jamie(other than the awkward date) and we mostly see Yasmin with Shakira and Toni.

But as I dislike most the men, if one of them has to win it might as well be him.

I saw Tinie Tempah at a charity gig once. Totally not my thing, but he was fabulous and really got the crowd going. My partner went to the bar, came back with 2 drinks each for us both, then disappeared off to the loo, leaving me struggling to hold all 4 🙄 It was at this point Tinie chose to do the "go low" thing. I thought, well I can't possibly join in whilst I'm practically a living bar... but then turned round and the whole of the o2 had gone low and I was standing there like a lemon 🫣 So I had to engage.. which was interesting to say the least 😳

Agree. His only personality trait seems to be nice and smiley, but that's better than most on there. When he tells Yasmin he has her back, I wish he'd make a (loving) joke about her back being so stiff, but it never gets that interesting. Maybe Blu's been briefed to have a crack at Yas to make Jamie more active. Doubtful though. I expect Shakira will end up stuck in a (friendship hopefully) couple with Blu when Connor ditches her for Megan.

Just caught up - wondering what Blu will bring to the villa? He wasn't very popular first time round. That's if him and Megan are going back to be islanders again, maybe they'll only be there temporarily.

Megan and Blu just strolling back into the villa would seem a bit odd so I wonder if it's going to be ping "I've got a text" Shakira and Conor are going on a date but it turns out to be separate dates with Megan and Blu, who can then win their way back into the villa like with casa amor.

The interplay between emotional and physical connections seems to have been a bit a theme this year with many of the boys choosing the latter (to their subsequent regret I think). I am hopeful that Conor will buck the trend. The wobble with Shakira was about him not being sure about her feelings for him and not wanting to be made a mug of, I think his feelings for her are strong enough that he won't make a mug of her.

I do think Conor is a good person. I noticed last night he immediately checked Emma was okay after Harry's declaration to Helena.
