I do think she was being genuine though, saying why she's not and can't be all in after how things have gone for her in there. It's disingenuous to pretend you're '200%' at this point, having gone through all the girls Connor has and recently had that wobble too. I think there is genuine affection from both sides, but Shakira is wise to not make more of it. She's not doing stuff just to win and that feels refreshing.

Do we think that Toni and Cach could win if it fully rekindles or will she never be fully rehabilitated from all the Harrison shit and the Emily 'wah wah' moment? Iconic though it was/she is, I don't know if there's enough love for her to win, although there certainly is for Cach.

I don't think Helena is over Harry. She's quite good at masking her feelings I think, as she realises once he sees her acting committed/serious and not flirty and fun, he'll run for the hills (hello, Angel). She's totally right when she says she feels she shouldn't lay down the law to him and he should realise these things himself - trouble is if you give Harry an inch, he'll take a mile but yes, if you set boundaries he'll run... so it's lose, lose.

How ironic when somebody (Helena, perhaps) announced Meg deserved this (commitment from Mustard) because of all the shit she's had to deal with in the villa 🤔

I can see that, and it's probably right, but they were good whenever Harrison wasn't in the mix so it could be one of those toxic ex things where as soon as they're off the scene, something more healthy can take root. Grasping at straws possibly, due to lack of anything like a genuine decent relationship this season.

I don’t actually mind Helena but if I was her family or friend I’d have been throwing my slippers at the telly last night watching her sitting there laughing along while Harry was flirting with Angel. Surely she’s not short of admirers outside so I just don’t see the reason for repeatedly putting up with him. I don’t think she thinks they could win so I’d tell him to piss off by this point. Well, I would have a long time ago. 😅

If there was a prize for the two most manipulative individuals in there, I would give it to Harry and Toni.

I think yes Cash and Tony would be my favourites to win. I want to like Jasmin more but just find her too wooden like she is acting the part. Shakira and Connor I like individually but lack any passion as a couple.

I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt because he was doing both the US and UK versions simultaneously and probably didn’t have the time to write ‘funny’ jokes
However, the US version is over and he is still not funny

There's a discussion coming up shortly on the radio show I'm listening to (in Ireland) on misogyny in the Love Island villa.

I think she definitely fancies him but I also think she's more calculated than she's letting on. She's never been in a relationship and I reckon she's not expecting that from Harry at this point and knows what he's like.
