You can see half the cast all shiny from the heat and humidity. And probably will for a couple more months yet at least!

Not a lot has changed since the beginning of the last thread!

Nina and Summer had a close shave when the police thought they'd attacked Gary when they were 'tripping.' Turned out it was Lou (who has been arrested.)

Lauren is falling for Aadi (he is cute to be fair.)

Debbie is fairly stable but sadly still has dementia.

Looks like Mick is going to cause trouble again, after being arrested for killing Craig. And Sally and Tim have been taking care of his and Lou's children.

Not much to be seen of the older characters, (I mean - like people who have been there 20+ years, not just the ones who've been there from the 1960s/1970s etc,) and Corrie is a little bit crime, and doom heavy at the moment.

But we do have a few 'light-hearted' moments to keep us going.

George and Glenda are always worth watching, Tim and Steve are funny together. Not fond of Cassie, but am warming to her and Steve being together, (and am warming to her a bit...) Debbie is a star and it's sad that she's ill, and DeeDee appears to be pining for her baby that she has 'given' to her brother James. James is being a bit of an arse to her too. Hope the little girl (Laila) stays in Coronation Street! She is adorable!

Kev has been given the all clear and doesn't have cancer now, but is telling everyone he does. Tyrone has caught him out though, and told him he needs to tell Abi!

Swain has been given desk duties, and counselling, (after the trauma of the death of her colleague Craig,) but isn't taking to the counselling, as she thinks she's fine.

What a total pile of crap! Dreadful episode,

I missed some of tonight’s and saw Bernie was in hospital because of the lilies. Did they get married?

No they just said a few words/vows while on the ward and then started talking like they had gotten married.

Still only half way trhough the episode (recorded it and started watching 25 minutes ago...)

Gemma looked really lovely at times, but unfortunately, in some scenes the dark orange face and white neck put in an appearance.

They’re not legally married, just Corrie married.
Thought Gemma looked very pretty.
Bernie’s dress was a mashup of her hippie vibe with a nod to Dev’s culture.
Bernie’s updo has always looked immaculate, not in keeping with her, but yes very Bet Lynch tonight. If only she had an ounce of her style and charisma.

Well, at least they've come clean about the insurance scam fiasco. The whispering and meaningful looks behind Dev's back were doing my head in. It was obviously going to come out.

Also, when Todd was trying to get Summer to go to the wedding (so he and Theo could have some 'private time' 🙄) Todd said 'Bernie is practically your grandma sort of, you can't miss her wedding, you should go....'

How on earth is Bernie 'sort of' Summer's grandma? I have tried and tried to think and work it out and back track etc, and I cannot see ANY link between Bernie and Summer.

Anyone know WTH he was on about?!

It sounds like he was meaning because Billy was married to Paul, Bernie is Paul’s mother so maybe Bernie is a kind of grandmother in that way?

Oh YESSSS, of course. I had forgotten about Paul! So many characters marrying into each others families on there, I lose track! 😆

I could not work out why Dev was so harsh on Aadi but then so soft on Bernie. Who wants to marry someone who is nicking off them?

My DS was a mechanic.He said Kevin's garage was one big parody.Tyrone wearing his his boiler suit ''half and half''e.g. with the top always tied round his waist, he may as well not bother to wear one at all.And as for Abby, well words fail me.

Yep I was a receptionist in a car dealership that done MOT, services etc onsite and the mechanics were always bogging. I never went in the workshop as felt dirty after about a second.

Bernie always wears that fake bun, it's so unlike her real hair it's laughable, looks like she bought it in a pound shop, but i kind of liked her dress, and i loved the blue suits, weird that they were so cheap but yet they fit beautifully. Wtf was Summer doing letting herself into Eileen's house? Did she say something about working in peace? Her flat would have been empty with Billy at the wedding, whereas Eileen's house is like a B&B.

Summer had painted her bedroom and the paint smell was too strong for her to study around.

I think Summer is going to be the one to notice that Theo is a wrong 'un .

She has a much better relationship with Todd then she does Billy .

How was that marriage even legal with them just carrying it out? I have no idea why they used that storyline it was ridiculous! Are you sure Auntie Rhani didn’t do the flowers !
