You can see half the cast all shiny from the heat and humidity. And probably will for a couple more months yet at least!

Not a lot has changed since the beginning of the last thread!

Nina and Summer had a close shave when the police thought they'd attacked Gary when they were 'tripping.' Turned out it was Lou (who has been arrested.)

Lauren is falling for Aadi (he is cute to be fair.)

Debbie is fairly stable but sadly still has dementia.

Looks like Mick is going to cause trouble again, after being arrested for killing Craig. And Sally and Tim have been taking care of his and Lou's children.

Not much to be seen of the older characters, (I mean - like people who have been there 20+ years, not just the ones who've been there from the 1960s/1970s etc,) and Corrie is a little bit crime, and doom heavy at the moment.

But we do have a few 'light-hearted' moments to keep us going.

George and Glenda are always worth watching, Tim and Steve are funny together. Not fond of Cassie, but am warming to her and Steve being together, (and am warming to her a bit...) Debbie is a star and it's sad that she's ill, and DeeDee appears to be pining for her baby that she has 'given' to her brother James. James is being a bit of an arse to her too. Hope the little girl (Laila) stays in Coronation Street! She is adorable!

Kev has been given the all clear and doesn't have cancer now, but is telling everyone he does. Tyrone has caught him out though, and told him he needs to tell Abi!

Swain has been given desk duties, and counselling, (after the trauma of the death of her colleague Craig,) but isn't taking to the counselling, as she thinks she's fine.

Abi and Carl's post coital conversation was bizarre and hilarious

I was irritated by Abbie and Carl.

Kevin was an idiot for lying but couldn’t she have left without being unfaithful

Months of smoldering looks from Abi resulted in a garage quickie.

Another unwanted baby storyline?

Definitely pregnant.

Why did Carl go so quickly from "Let's get it on...wasn't that amazing!" to "All over now, go back to Kev!" And sounding rather sanctimonious.

Abi's go to reaction to any bad news is to shag someone and get pregnant

Kev said he would go to the police if Abi left him.

Plus I doubt Carl has any real interest in setting up home with Abi and Alfie, for a start family Christmases could get a bit weird

How on earth did Sam manage to get into the Platt's home and move furniture? Unless he has super strength we are unaware of!
Please Corrie writers, not another PTSD story! So many characters have had this over the past few years. Also still unsure why Sam was so terrified of Mick in the first place. He wouldn't have known who he was.

Please no more scenes of Sam shuddering in a corner, not sure if I can handle it.

David and Nick rowing about parenting skills row is another one where it is hard to back one side, unless you count rolling around on your sides. They are both beyond hopeless as fathers and adamant that their kids can do no wrong - years of telling Max he was a good kid really did not fare well but David is repeating it with Lily.

When Abi & Carl started snogging,the clock showed just before 1pm, scene change later and they’re pulling their clothes back on huffing and puffing, saying it was “the best ever” and the clock was at 1:05. A proper quickie!

Now that Lauren seems to be the only one working in the pub, what’s happening with the ownership? Have I missed who now owns it? Or have the writers forgotten that storyline?

Carla seems to own it.

She seems to own the whole of the factory too, the other shareholders have been forgotten about

Todd and Theo are a couple of dozy pillocks.

Why couldn't one of them have waited for Tyrone and the other gone on to the flat?

They could have eased the new Lily in a bit slower and the whole little minx thing is a bit cliched but the actress is really good and always good to see talented youngsters.
