Emma’s dressing down of Harry was far more effective and cutting when she came in and did the big speech. Should have left it there. She said enough. Sadly Toni is right: she does just come across as bitter now.

I had forgotten Emma’s comment to Helena about not liking the way she carries herself. And he comment to Conor.

I suspect that Conor will be looking around that villa for someone else to couple up with. He’s not done too bad for a last minute replacement for the guy that got kicked off just before the start.

I thought Cach handled last night really well too.

given the potential for explosive arguments, the producers do seem to ensure people can control their tempers. Well, the men in particular I suppose. Not an easy thing to spot when recruiting.

I agree and think Dej could take a leaf out of his book! The way he instantly turns nasty when any of the girls try to get answers from him makes uncomfortable viewing.

Oh, perhaps. I thought she said she wasn't wearing the straps because they wouldn't fit... but probably misheard. Hope it wasn't a dig at Helena being flat chested though. It's refreshing to see someone who doesn't feel the need to get implants when they're not well endowed... and that's the only time you'll hear me complimenting Helena!

Am I the only one who feels a bit sorry for Ben. I think he lacks confidence hence why he reads self help books. As much as I like Shakira she was quite dismissive of him too like she didn’t respect him. I always try and treat people with respect even if they are a bit of an idiot 😂

Nope. I can't bring myself to feel sorry for Ben after his comments to Yasmin. Calling her irrelevant and saying none of the guys want you in here, and that no-one likes you.

Then during the Casa recoupling he said to Toni "I think I’ve got to give it to Harrison – what Lauren’s been able to give him in three days, you haven’t been able to do in two or three weeks.”

Honestly, the guy just has a proper nasty streak.

I think Emma has had a go at Harry and Helena because she knew the public (and probably the producers) wanted her to. Most of us have commented that Helena hasn’t behaved well, she’s allowed to hold that opinion too!

I also think that Connor was over stepping a bit. Emma knows that if Connor speaks to Harry he will say everything is fine, and then Connor will go and tell her that everything is fine, even though she knows it isn’t. I think Connor is just a bit bored of it and doesn’t want to hear her talking about Harry.

There’s years of history there that Connor has no business meddling in really. If he didn’t want to deal with the Emma/Harry stuff he shouldn’t have chosen to couple up with her.

I don't feel sorry for him. I suspect the women are reacting to something the edit's not showing us.

This. ^ I didn't warm to Shakira for the first couple of weeks, as I thought she had 'Queen Bee' vibes, but I have warmed to her a lot and thinks she is quite sweet and yes, genuine. Cerainly not a mean bitch as @Usernamenotavailable19 says.

Helena is a bitch, and Meg is even worse. Horrible pair. Dislike Dejon and Harry too. Meg and Dejon deserve each other, as do Helena and Harry. The 4 worst people in there. Toni comes across as wounded, but she seems nice, and is quite funny.

Maybe Shakira was dismissive of him because Ben was banging on about her needing humbling within 24 hours of them being in there. His card was marked from that point on.

I did like her at first, but as Toni pointed out, she is v bitter as she just won’t let go of trying to patronise Helena and bad mouth Harry whenever she can to whoever she can.
Plus I thought the way she spoke to Connor was really dismissive and quite rude.

Cach seems like a really decent guy. If Toni can get over her mild obsession with the boy Harrison and give Cach a proper shot they could win this. Could they?

Oh absolutely. To be honest, I think Meg and Helena have been awful but so have Shakira and Toni. I don't get how some people are saying how mean Meg and Helena are but bigging up Shakira and saying 'go girl'

The way Shakira has been speaking about Helena is not nice to see. Although not saying it to her face calling her a bitch and saying 'fuck off Helena' and mimicking the way she speaks. Then last night when she was arguing with Meg she told her to 'shut the fuck up'. I remember Harriet telling someone to 'shut the fuck up' last year and she was roasted alive on here. Yet Shakira does it and not one person has mentioned it.

I am not in either camp, and am not sticking up for anyone, but both sets of girls have been pretty crap towards one another.

It is a shame really as it’s very cliquey this year normally the girls seem to bond better and support each other but this years lot seem all out for themselves. Series 3 was lovely with all the girls mainly getting on.

When comparing shakira and Toni to Helena and Megan.... Just imagine megs reaction if Helena had said "i can't wait to F you" to D when she was coupled up with him!
I can't get past that.

Something that has really struck me this season particularly is the look of enjoyment on some of the women’s faces when another woman is clearly hurting. It’s so depressing.

I guess it makes for better television

I think also with Shakira it's that she's hugely frustrated as she just can't work out Helena's motives. Helena just sits there with that goofy grin no matter what's thrown at her... it's like nothing goes in. Shakira can't work out if she doesn't give a shit or if she's pretending she doesn't and that matters a lot when someone is seemingly targeting you and trampling all over your feelings. I honestly don't think Shakira would be half as bothered if she thought Harry was the love of Helena's life, but the way it comes across is that Helena just gets a kick out of throwing a spanner in the works and it's all a big game to her.

I think that goes for all of us @CellophaneFlower. Helena is a tough one to work out. From what we’ve seen over the last few days she doesn’t seem to even have any loyalty for her best friends in there (Meg and Dejon) so it makes me think she doesn’t give a shit about anybody.

She doesn’t show any emotion for anything. Just laughs. Everyone expressed surprise at the beginning to learn that she’d never been in a relationship at the age of 30. But now you can totally see why. She doesn’t have the capacity for it.
