On week 5 now (I think,) and I don't think there is one single solid couple at the moment. They're all over the place! 😬

Continued from Thread 2. (Obvs!)

What a mess of a series. No strong couples. Girls arguing amongst each other while the boys sit back and watch. The fellas deflecting their shitty behaviour and getting away with it.

At this rate, Tommy and blonde Scouser will win it by default.

Just goes to show there's absolutely no romantic connections in there. They knew showing movies about couples wouldn't bring any drama.

The most genuine emotion seem to be between Helena and Harry. Harry is incapable of being decent or faithful but I do think he is drawn to her, enjoys her company and feels a connection. Helena is crazy about him.

Meg and Dijon - when they went exclusive there was no emotional charge and the little dry pecks afterwards were very telling!

Shakira is holding herself very well and seems to have emotional maturity beyond her years. Seems at odds with her intro spiel on episode one where she was saying “I’ll take your man!” etc.

I've caught up this morning.
A) I love movie night. Wish they'd done the whole episode on it. Wish we could have something similar at work.
B) I know it's wrong, but I find Harry entertaining. He's like your mate at college or uni that you invite to everything but would never, ever date.
C) I wish they showed more of the other couples. Surely Billikiss and Boris say and do something interesting?? They seem perfectly articulate and charming the little we do see.
D) ITV player thing is almost unusable.

Agree on all points and especially D - I have to watch on my phone because on the tv ITVX is an exercise in pure frustration and hang time!

Shakira has shown great integrity throughout. If my daughter conducted herself like Shakira I would be proud. If she behaved like Helena I’d be getting her in to therapy asap because there’s something very damaged in Helena’s psyche.

Yes! She is bright and capable of intelligent, interesting conversation - and calling out Dejon and no doubt others too. Boris is naturally witty. They are both gorgeous too. Why on Earth aren’t they being shown even a little bit? I also like Conor and feel like he talks about other stuff other than just sitting there people watching and bitching.

Mustard is such a prick. Sitting there laughing with Helena about MyMug, then taking it to her as if Helena's out of order... wtf? He's trying to isolate her.

So annoyed about Shakira being portrayed as the biggest mean girl, especially them making out she was body shaming Helena by saying her bikini didn't fit. Helena is TINY - in no way was Shakira meaning she was too fat for it... she was meaning the straps didn't fit as she's taller than her. And the boys calling her out for making "personal" comments towards Helena.. can't get much more personal than singling a particular girl out and going for all her men whilst wearing her fucking clothes 🙄

Loving Toni again. Yes she's extremely brash, sulky and bitter... but she's honest and upfront... and her cutting retorts are gold 😂

Yeah I don’t understand all this “no need to get personal” rhetoric. It was personal! Helena was singling Shakira out by wearing her clothes (and pointing it out to Shakira and others) whilst attempting to steal her man. It can’t get anymore personal than that!

My take on it was that Shakira was commenting on the bikini top not fitting Helena because Shakira has bigger boobs then Helena, therefore the straps kept falling down because she wasn’t filling the cups.

This series has actually turned into a useful exercise to show young women in how not to pander to player boys and do the ‘pick me’ dance. It may just inadvertently end up having a positive social impact.

If all the girls came together collectively and said they are dumping all the men and refusing to re couple, that would be amazing

Yes, I agree she’s annoying. Plus as much as I dislike Helena, it isn’t Emma’s place to be inserting herself into Harry’s new relationship. We can all see that Harry is an asshole but Helena is choosing not to. The last person she’s going to listen to is Emma.

I do now. She said her piece in Casa and should leave it now. Her comments last night about Harry being a snake in friendships and in business could be very damaging.

It may well be all true but I don’t think it is fair that Emma is bringing the outside in to the villa. And I say that as someone who really dislikes Harry and his treatment of women.

Yes, and when she told Helena she "didn't agree with how she carries herself" really irritated me because it's not her place to agree or disagree. She's come in, clearly still bothered by it all. And then the irony of her telling Connor to stop getting involved

It's got really boring during casa, watching her basically lecture him everyday. Yes he clearly treated her poorly but it shows she hasn't moved on, so I don't think a dating show is the place she should be. And Toni was right to say she was the most bitter one in there. It almost feels like she's trying to prove to everyone that she knows Harry better than anyone or something

Who does she think she is telling Helena how she should or should not have gone about things? Then having the cheek to ask Connor why is he inserting himself into this.

I don't like the way she keeps laying into Harry constantly, calling him out. We all know what he is like. Stop bloody banging on about it.

The one time I’ve liked Toni recently was last night when she said we’ve all said shit about each other. Made it clear the women were not going to hold grudges with each other.

In the past haven’t Casa people been told not to talk about the outside or what they’ve seen? I think it’s what makes Emma’s endless lectures all the more jarring.

Its by far my favourite of all the big nights. I hate the heart rate challenge, I'm bored of Casa Amor to be honest but I loooooove Movie Night!

Yes, I think Emma has a really superior air about her and she's really no better than any of Harry's conquests, as she admitted there's still love there, despite constantly banging on about what a terrible person Harry is 🙄
