I find it very worrying that young people will be watching this and think this is how they should treat people or allow themselves to be treated. Is this what dating is really like nowadays?
And having sex in a communal bedroom is just grim!

I'm riled up about the producers doing Lauren and Harrison dirty showing their sex scenes. I don't believe for one second that nobody else has had sex. They've also been living together 24/7 for 10 days, although I know plenty of people who've had sex after less time and what about it! It's also comments everywhere over how Lauren is letting herself down, Lauren is a slag, Lauren is loose, not a thing about the gaslighting, immature, sleazy prick who also had sex after 10 days! Double standards on the show this year are rife!

Aside from that, my thoughts remain the same.
Hate Toni increasingly more with every episode, want her gone, her storyline is boring and I'm sick of her trying to use iconic one liners. When was the last time someone fumbled the 50K this bad!?
Helena is still a mug.
I can't wait to see "My Meg" and "D" get their arses handed to them after the voting thing. I wouldn't be surprised if she calls it quits and leaves the show, citing "there's something I'm not seeing that everyone else clearly is, my bottle should say Mug not Meg".

I'm sick of all of the main lot, they've all got Stockholm Syndrome for their terrible men and tragic relationships, and I really despair if youngsters are watching this nonsense and idolising it. If producers threw in some emergency decent male bombshells like they did with Greg for Amber in S5, I don't think they'd even budge. They're all so committed to the struggle-love life.

I think Lauren thought everyone was at it (maybe Harrison even told her that or at least implied it) and was actually surprised when Helena and Meg said they hadn’t been.

We need some bombshells and some more dumplings. They need more of a shake up and the numbers need to be uneven so they put more effort in.

Wow, just wow. I think Harrison has blown my mind more than any contestant ever. I really do think he's oblivious to the fact he's created this whole situation. He has absolutely zero self awareness.

Gone right off Toni again. She looks at Lauren like she's a piece of shit on her shoe and the way she's messed Cach about is disgusting. The way she told Harrison she had saved him from being dumped was not much better than Lauren sleeping with him to keep him. Who wants somebody to pick them as they're grateful?! She deserves everything she gets... have no sympathy for her now whatsoever.

Boris is a twat. He used Billykiss as an easy route into the villa. She knew deep down that's what he was doing, so should have gone with her gut and taken that other guy in. He doesn't seem to have shown an interest in anyone... so I'm guessing he's there for the exposure.

Going off Shakira too now. Every time she mentioned the dumping, she said it was HER choice. It's all about her and I think she has a ridiculously high opinion of herself. Yes, she's pretty... but certainly not the most attractive girl in LI history. I was surprised she kept referring to Harrison as her best mate after what he's been doing to Toni, who's also supposed to be her friend. I thought (as did Toni) that she kept him in as despite him treating her friend like crap, she knew she wanted him to stay - but nope, he's her friend... so all about her again 🙄 A fair way to do it would have been for Ty and Shakira to each pick 1 couple to save, but no... she gets 2 choices as Ty's opinion doesn't count at all.

@GoldenNuggets08, just to be clear, at no point have I referred to Lauren as a “slag” or “loose”. I would not use those terms in real life nor on here.

I called Lauren a fool for having sex with Harrison as a way of keeping him. I called them both rancid for having sex in the communal bedroom. He is awful for what he has done to both of them but both women will have to own the decisions they have made.

Yes, there probably are couples who have been more intimate in there than they are prepared to discuss. Anyone with any common sense would know that this could be done more discreetly and kept quiet. Not because it is shameful to have sex with someone you have recently met. But because it’s on a TV show watched and discussed by a lot of people. Including their own friends, families, colleagues, employers, future employers.

The producers showed it because there was no attempt to be discreet and it was openly discussed by Lauren the next morning. It’s also significant to the storyline because it explains why Lauren is now so upset.

I remember the days of Dani Dyer being clear from the beginning that everything would be “PG” as her mum and dad were watching.

Poor Lauren really ? She knew exactly what she was doing in order to keep that immature creep! No way would I sleep with someone who is clearly getting his pathetic ego boosted by 2 desperate girls and to do it on National TV watched by millions including her family jeez ! Yes poor Lauren!

I really don’t think producers should televise things like this. I know this sounds patronising but my mother used to tell me in my early twenties that my prefrontal cortex had more developing to do when it came to making sometimes very poor judgements and having an inability to weigh up consequences. It used to rile me up but I now know it’s true and she was right. I’m glad H admitted to intimacy too so it’s not just one of them. So I actually agree with any “Poor Lauren” sentiments. I also think Harrison may grow up to be ashamed of himself.

I suspect Harrison is a massive love bomber. We saw lots of shots last week of Harrison and Lauren all smoochy in the pool, glued at the hip. I bet he madly sells the dream. We even heard him say to her that he could see himself being with her on the outside etc. So, whilst I think Lauren made a huge error of judgement having sex with him, I do feel a bit sorry for her, as I think she will have bought all of that crap and presumably has low self-esteem and therefore thought that the way to keep him was to bonk him.

Toni clearly also has low self esteem but masks it differently. Any well grounded person with good boundaries would not be setting their sights on that man baby.

I think Harrison is scared of Toni and the wrath of Toni. He knew he was saved by Shakira and maybe didn’t want to upset her either.

Lauren has let herself down massively. It's nothing to do with sleeping with him as there's no issue with that but she did it for all the wrong reasons. And in a communal bedroom on TV. She did it to try keep him and that's the worst reason. If she played a but harder to get it would have worked out better for her. Harrison likes the chase with Toni as it's more interesting. Noone, male or female, really wants the easy option.

Twenty six is still young for some, imo. I was still entertaining total shitheads when dating until my late twenties, when I met my husband and only then started learning from my mistakes. At the time, I naively thought they were just bad boys I could tame.

agree with the comments on how Toni treats Lauren. Toni is so sulky looking all the time. She’s always repeating herself that she’s not a triangle, and Harrison doesn’t deserve her and she’s worth so much more. She clearly doesn’t think she is as she wouldn’t have picked him again. Feel so bad for Cach as he was actually trying to be understanding.

Just caught up on last night and wow. Toni has gone right down in my opinion. Choosing Harrison was a bold and stupid move. And yes, I do feel sorry for Lauren. I feel sorry that she feels so hurt and used, and she obviously does. But I don't like the way she has been slated for her decisions. She has been massively judged and shamed and I wouldn't have done what she did, but its still not nice to see her so upset.

And no-one seemed to be worried about Cach and his feelings in all this. Even when Emma recoupled with him and you could clearly see he was feeling pissed off and used she made her speech all about herself. How she had a rough time etc, and not once did she make reference to the fact the person she was coupling up with had also been having a shit time. I just can't like that girl. She seems so self centred.

Funny how the LI girls always say they want a real man and are done with fuckboys. Then LI gives them real men and nice guys, in the likes of Giorgio, Boris, Ty and Cach and they all choose the Harrisons, Harry and Dejons 🙄Every single year, the nice guy gets overlooked.

Yes, I hope so. I thought LI was a bit lighter nowadays after the poor mental health of some contestants over the years. I’m not enjoying the recent intensity and I hope it lightens up again - and hope all contestants will be okay and get any support they need. I really enjoy the Saturday show and agree with the PO who said it’d be nice to see more of this in the main shows.

Emma's overdone drawl irrationally irritates me

I'm not sure how Boris can be described as one of the good guys - we've seen barely anything of him, bar him conning Billykiss into getting him into the villa. His broken English makes him endearing, yes, and he's easy on the eye - but I'm not sure that's enough to deem him a nice person and a real man yet.

Emma is just embarrassing herself. She needs to move on and get the idea out of her head that Harry is ever going to grow up and become a 1 woman, devoted partner.

I'm not sure who'd be attracted to her anyway... she's a massive fun sponge, far too judgemental and extremely patronising.

They definitely need to cull a few more couples. Emma & Harry should both go. I like Helena personally she would be better off with Ty.

The producers seem so keen on Toni, there was loads of times early on that she could have left but they engineered her staying. So much screen time too, it’s not fair at all.
Wish they’d kept Alima too.

I don’t think Harrison would have chosen Toni if he’d had the option. He may have pretended to be confused but would have wimped out and picked Lauren even if he was swaying slightly towards Toni. They do need a cull, maybe allow the islanders to save one out of a few couples that aren’t safe.
