So Love Island is now on week 3. Will the arguing and bickering and catfighting continue....... ??? (Probably!) 🙄

It is an odd series. All the chats/kisses seem incredibly contrived compared with previously.

I tend to look away and cringe at all the kisses, as they're so unnatural. Reminds me of when I was like, 12 and it was "X wants to get off with Y" and if both were in agreement, off they'd trot together and have a snog, then both go straight back to their pals to discuss. Bleurghhh!

The lack of chucking them out is part the issue. Need the ogs to feel the fear.

Been behind a few episodes for a few days, but have now caught up. Have to say I am bored with it now this season, and keep finding myself fastforwarding through it. No solid couples, not one really likeable contestant, none of them staying loyal or true to the person they're with, and all just seemingly in it for the fame. Harry and Helena are loathesome.

Really wondering if I can be faffed to carry on watching.

Recoupling tonight (after Casa Amor) may be interesting though. So I will probably watch that!

ANd yes, the kissing, or lipsing as they call it on there 🙄 is grim to listen to, all slurpy and wet. Gross!

And yes, embarrassingly contrived!

Boris announced he’d come for Shakira but I haven’t seen one conversation he’s had with Shakira. Did she give him the red light?

This is a good point. I think it's only been Megan and Alima, plus Shae but he wasn't OG. The rest have been resting on their laurels for sure. My voting app is getting very little use so far...

I thought this. Often they go into Casa declaring they have eyes for only one person though and in reality they're off with the first one to throw them a crumb 😂

I'm also intrigued by the seemingly lack of interaction between Shakira and Boris given what he said when he came in. Surely if they'd had much conversation it would be shown, even if it was embarrassingly cringy 😂
That kiss with Billykiss looked pretty awful though, such a shame as he had good potential!

First looks shows absolutely nothing but folk commenting on FB post suggests 6 people are leaving tonight, mix of casa and OGs 🤔

I reckon Meg, Emily & Helena will “stick” and D & Harry will stick. Everyone else will recouple. I wouldn’t be surprised if Helena recouples with Ty tho if she gets to choose before Shakira - mainly to piss Shakira off but also to save face in case Harry returns with someone else.

So in terms of futile speculation, who do we think that would be?

The older casa guy (Chris?), the guy who Meg was chatting with (don't know name), Emily... Who else?

Rhea, I guess, if we're thinking Harry sticks with Helena.

Not sure how much longer is left of the series but I was wondering if Harry feels it’s time for his character arc from an (in)eligible bachelor to faithful husband material yet.

I think it'd be a struggle to pull that off with Helena, given how fast the 'undeniable chemistry' evaporated. Or were you think it'd be with Rhea, or Emma, or Shakira? Or all of those and then back to Helena again? Exhausting!

Part of me wonders what he'd make of Ty - seeing a younger similar-ish looking guy with Shakira (and Helena wanting that too) might have an effect one way or another.

It wouldn't work with Helena anyway... she'd never be happy with someone who was actually hers.

I’d bet he’ll never settle down (even if he got married 🙈) but just wondering what goes through his brain! 😂 At the start, I thought he fancied himself as a bit of a ladies man but I imagined he would change his tune and claim he’s a changed man when the final was looming.

I think Dirty Harry will recouple. Mustard and Meg will both stick as they think they have won this! Reckon they will suddenly become exclusive once reunited at the villa hence hoping this will give them brownie points 🥱 please don’t let the smug pair win ! Em will stick but Randy Connor won’t. 🤞 Ty chooses Shakira !

Helena may well move on Ty for this reason, but also because she'll know it will leave Shakira vulnerable/ dumped. Have a feeling that might happen- can you imagine the nasty smug smirking from the three bullies Helena, Meg and Emily? Vile

I’ll be incensed if Shakira leaves. Might even boycott the rest of the season hereafter! Whereas if Helena goes, I don’t mind.

What if both Helena and Shakira say that they want to recouple with Ty? Does he then get to chose which one he wants to recouple with?

I don't think we have ever had that situation before.

I think it'll depend on who the producers choose to go first, that's what I'm thinking.

Please god let them have Shakira choose first. If they don’t then it’s obvious the producers are purposely giving her a rough ride. Don’t know how that will go down with the public!

As someone else said I think that would be me done. This is a really horrible element to all this, it isn’t just all in the spirit of the game. It’s calculated and with Meg and Emily’s encouragement it feels like a horrible pile on.
