Which TV characters do you hate in a show you otherwise love

Rewatching Frasier for the 39th time and everytime they are in an episode I think just how awful the characters of Daphnes brothers are, I absolutely hate them 😂

Shauna Shipley from Yellowjackets both young and adult versions.

Carmela Soprano I immensely enjoyed the priest calling out her hypocrisy and it was unforgivable how she was so easily distracted in the last series (won’t say more as I may spoil it for those who have not yet watched The Soprano’s)

Brilliantly acted by Eddie Falco. Yes I was a little over invested 😬

Dixon Wilson in 90210. We're supposed to believe he's a "good guy" who has overcome a difficult childhood, but he behaves like a narcissistic, misogynistic five year old and actually manages to make the decent characters behave idiotically and out of character whenever they're in contact with him. There are (many) other characters who do awful and stupid things, but he's the only one who never develops and is still an emotional and intellectual toddler to the end.

She's so whiny and needy!

I hate Carrie in SATC. Eve is supremely annoying in a lot of Killing Eve. It is my biggest tv sadness that she wasn't killed. Dawn in Buffy is pretty darn irritating. The pathetic, awkward, creepy doctor in Green Wing.

Paige in Scorpion. Would have been better without her in it.

Susan in Friends. Utter bitch!

Michael Scott in The Office. I know he’s supposed to be irritating but I found his character so enraging that by the later series I just couldn’t watch him any more. Props to Steve Carrel for playing him so well- I like him in just about every other role he’s had.

Also Grace in Will and Grace. I know you need straight guys to bounce the funnier characters off but OMFG.

Big Bird in Seasame Street. Even as a kid it was abut off. Like a drag act bird.

Miranda in SITC. If you’re having a “less attractive because she’s clever” 🙄 character, at least make her clever.

It’s mostly US characters I notice.

I've just started watching again as I missed quite a bit when it was first on TV, I feel exactly the same. Two episodes in and she's really getting on my nerves. 😆

Daphne in Frasier - the character doesn't make sense, what kind of physiotherapist also want to clean and cook? I don't understand her relationship with Niles at all, he is a clever rational man, she thinks she is psychic. Much prefer Roz.

Bates in Downton. Ugh.

The whole resurrected crew in Red Dwarf.

Yes! Chelsea Peretti always seemed like she was being held at gunpoint to be in the show.

I couldn't stand Patsy in Ab Fab.

Mandy in S1 of The West Wing, luckily everyone agreed with me so they got rid.
Just about everyone in Ted Lasso.

Liz in Shrinking. Absolutely vile and annoying woman with the most distractingly plastic face.

they could’ve had Gina be an admin superstar while still being funny but no she was a waste of airtime

An old one. Last of the Summer Wine, the character Eli. Loath him with a passion, ludicrous character even for that programme

Oh, I just remembered another one. James Hurley in Twin Peaks was the worst. I love how David Lynch trolled the fans by having him sing again in the return though.

Morven Christie in the A Word I don’t like her in anything, The Bay or Grantchester. Though I enjoy all three programmes except her.
