Sounds like it was a good match in the end. I feel for Stef- he's really had a lot of ups and downs- but I'm glad he took it well. Well, at least Casper won't feel so bad- probably a tie for biggest loss today!

Dh is fortunately relegated to elsewhere- although, I don't think he's watching football, Man Utd played a friendly this afternoon. Not at home- fortunately, would have made my trip to Salford Quays/War museum far more annoying with football fans on the tram .

Holger is doing well- Mac (who has clearly been brought in to commentate on a lesser known American, having expected a different match) is trying very hard to make this sound positive- but even he has declared this 'embarrassing ' for Nava- although- it's hardly a 3 bagel situation.

I think Shelton was meant to play Gaston- hence PC (for the French player) , and Mac.
But it all went south.

Just had two tiny power cuts in succession which is annoying because the Sky box has to reboot itself. Last time that happened was Eurovision day when they then had all the outages. Hopefully that won’t happen again!

Hopefully not, Jane- this Munar/Fils match could be a good one. Noisy, if nothing else.
