Thanks for the new thread Raahh - well I’ve just sat down and it’s all over! Don’t think we needed to worry about Jannik’s form after his break - in fact he looks nice and fresh when everyone else is looking ill and knackered

I think you're right, Fizzy, Jannik had a break from the relentless tour schedule- without being ill or injured- and has come back fresh as a daisy and everyone else is suffering.

Oh is the Musetti/Alcaraz match in the afternoon? I was hoping it was going to be the night match - not sure if I’ll get to see it

Selfishly, I am hoping the TP match is a similar result to tonight . I don't think for a second he is a better clay court player than Casper, and I would hate for him to be end up in a 3 set battle with Jannik after tonight's match.

Tommy is definitely a worse clay courter than Casper, but his play style may match up slightly better with Jannik. He has beaten him once (at Eastbourne) whereas Casper has never even taken a set. I still think Jannik will win pretty easily.

Ice I know- I just find TP so annoying, it feels like he will have bragging rights. And I don't want him to have any.

Watching the women's doubles- Jasmine and Sara have taken the first set. Doesn't matter how often I watch, still can't get my head around 'no ad' doubles, and it throws me every time.

Could be an early break on Errani's serve in the second set though.

Jasmine is on her way to being a double finalist - it's looking like being a great weekend for the Italian fans.
