I couldn't find a thread on this. Anyone else watching? I'm on episode 3 and really enjoying it but I feel like the trailer maybe gave some things away that you wouldn't have picked up on until a few episodes in.

Not watched it, but the plot sounds very like Andrea Mara’s book All Her Fault.

I watched it to find out the whys & wherefores.

Felt so sorry for Rebecca!

I’m enjoying this, would recommend!

I'm not normally a binge-watcher, but I watched the first 3 episodes yesterday and the last 2 this morning. I was gripped!!

I'd definitely recommend it.

I read the book a few years ago and enjoyed it. The series was good too, not amazing but interesting enough.

Thanks I've watched it and you're right.

Michael (is that his name) is nuts!

Thank you ! I was trying to remember which book about a boy being taken it reminded me of. That was a good thriller.

I just finished this on Disney. Pretty decent, kept me wanting to see how it unfolded but my god were there plot holes galore.

The do check pretty thoroughly at the ports when a child is missing. My parents were leaving Fishguard for Ireland when April Jones was missing and their car, along with everyone's was searched. In this show, I think they had Louisa out of the country before she was reported missing. It's why the whole sleepover ruse was necessary as opposed to just kidnapping her from school, or the initial playdate. They needed the 20 hours or so between the mother dropping off her pjs, to the parents realising the house was a holiday let, to get the child into France.

Sorry I know this comment is a few weeks old but I've been wracking my brain trying to remember what that book was called! Thank you🙌🏼
I hadn't read much of the description of The Stolen Girl but once I started watching I assumed it was based on this book, then realised it was different. Been driving myself nuts trying to remember😂

Sorry I know this thread is a few months old but have just got around to watching The Stolen Girl. I read the Alex Dahl book it was based on a few years ago. However I have one question that I cannot seem to find an answer to online - how did Nina know that Elisa was involved in the crash (in order to go after Elisa and take Lucia) - she didn't see who was in the car at the scene of the crash, Elisa wasn't involved in the trial and Marcus said he didn't tell anyone that Elisa was involved. How then did Nina male the connection? I just can't work it out!
