Gemma Chan is so beautiful but wooden, sadly.

Dichen Lachman (Miss Casey) from Severance is ethereally beautiful.

This is a terrible cliché but Aiden Turner as Poldark.

Jensen Ackles. I will not be taking further questions at this time

I am in total agreement. He’s gorgeous 😍

Ilovemyshed · 15/04/2025 15:43

How has nobody yet said Henry Cavill, especially in the Tudors. Be still my beating heart.

French one for you: Gregory Fitoussi as Pierre in Spiral. He left that for the tripe that was Mr Selfridge. Even he couldn't persuade me to watch it.

I liked Mr Selfridge Grin
He was good in it. He's very handsome.

EffortlesslyDecluttering · 15/04/2025 15:46

Another vote for Goran Visnijk from ER

Watch Spiral if you haven't already seen it - one of the best police dramas I've seen.

I notice someone mentioning ER. I used to love Noah Wyle-but even though he has obviously aged well, I don’t find him remotely attractive now.

MyKingdomForACat · 15/04/2025 16:07

I’ve always quite liked Steven Mackintosh. Not particularly good-looking but something nice about him

I've never quite fancied it. Someone once said you needed to get through the first two (I think she said two) and then it got really good. Seems like a lot to get through to get to the good stuff!

As you specifically said TV..

For sure John Nettles in his Bergerac prime..

Jodie Comer

Don Draper from Mad Men. I would let him do absolutely anything he wanted to me. However not Jon Hamm, he's just not sexy at all -more goofy (sorry Jon).

He’s so good in the new series Your Friends and Neighbours, because you really want things to work out for him as he seems so nice deep down.

Not sexy in reality at all though! Sort of a bit guileless - I had to scroll past his Saturday Night Live monologue at the weekend - he can’t do funny…

CalliopePlantain · 15/04/2025 16:21

Pedro Pascal

Eric Dane

It's excellent - I never felt I needed to get through anything with it. It's pretty gritty though.

Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger. Together or apart.

HeartandSeoul · 15/04/2025 16:43

Ben Fogle

I loved Spiral. I always used to say it in a French accent because I'm pretentious until I found out it wasn't called that. Had a soft spot for Thierry Godard.

And yes, I'm not sure what "TV celebrity" really means either but it's an good excuse to reminisce about hot men.

JenniferBooth · 15/04/2025 16:57

A 1970s Dave Allen (the comedian)

Scully01 · 15/04/2025 17:06

Tom Selleck was lovely. That mustache and he always seemed really trustworthy 😆

Goran Visnjik - Luca in E.R. Guess he was brought in to replace George Cluny, when he left and did a pretty good job, though glowered and simmered a bit more. (Shows age)

Ohhh yes (swoon).

CharlesPetrescu · 15/04/2025 17:10

Oona Kirsch (Come Back Lucy) and Will Kemp (dancer turned actor) in the Step Up dance films

He did a somewhat obscure thing called A Young Doctor's Notebook, based on a Bulgakov story collection, with Daniel Radcliffe of all people, and he was funny in that. It was quite mordant, deadpan comedy though.

MaryGreenhill · 15/04/2025 17:12

Colin Firth

I find it so weird that I thought moustaches were so attractive back in the day.
