Maya Jama ‘ ordinary looking’ ?????
She is beautiful and does not look like the average woman imo

I think that Alesha Dixon is absolutely stunning and actually gets more attractive with age .She is in her mid forties

Edited

Perhaps the pictures I looked at didn’t do her justice or caught her in an off moment but yes, she looks average to me. Pretty, and I’d be more than happy to look like her, but not the amazing beauty that some seem be saying.

Tom Selleck the manliest of men
Sofia Vergara is an absolute beauty

Yes Tom selleck is the only answer here

@Ilovemyshed

How has nobody yet said Henry Cavill, especially in the Tudors. Be still my beating heart.

@Willandra

Yes! Though for me it's Cavill in season one of The Witcher.

Absolutely, what a revelation. In a suit, not so much

Krest · 18/04/2025 09:50

I’d say AJ Odudu. I only realised recently how absolutely stunning she is.

Other mentions to :

young Marlon Brando
Ashley Walters
david beckham

I agree with AJ Odudu. She has that something extra that makes someone truly stunning.

I'm still sad that she was injured and unable to be in the Strictly final Sad

Loved him back in the day , I rewatched a couple of years ago and thought he was an absolute prat , really found myself admiring angelas mother even though I hated her when I first watched .

Anni-Frid Lyngstad [Frida, of ABBA].

namechin · 19/04/2025 15:28

Oh, now I would say 90s Holly Vallance when she was in Neighbours and her sister (?) Steph had me very confused.
Sean Bean in 90s Sharpe.
But above all men, George Michael has always been the most handsome, that smoulder!

Lalgarh · 28/04/2025 22:09

Ian Ogilvy circa 1970 when he was the pretty boy aesthete in Upstairs Downstairs

Obligatory Art Malik mention

Gattopardo · 28/04/2025 23:23

@Lalgarh yeah Art Malik does the job on the screen, very handsome and charismatic.

People who know tell me he is a bit of a knob unfortunately 😂 but that shouldn’t bother us here …

I also agree about Holly Valance aesthetically but her allegiance with Nigel Farage makes her ugly by association. What possesses a woman with influence and at least some talent, to hitch her wagon to that mad xenophobic incarnation of Zippy from Rainbow ?

Lalgarh · 29/04/2025 00:30

Meanwhile, Nicola Walker has managed in recent dramas to pair off with Stephen Mangan in The Split, Sean Bean in Marriage and Paul McGann in Annika and the Big Finish Doctor Who audio dramas.

Oh some mentions for

Shaun Evans

Tom Hughes

Harris Dickinson

In the wispy fey boy child stakes. Esp Evans in late 60s set series of Endeavour when he was consciously looking like Scott Walker

Doesn't she also have a tech-bro type husband/partner with dubious tax habits?

Thmssngvwlsrnd · 29/04/2025 12:49

Anyone else here old enough to remember watching Catherine Zeta Jones in the Darling Buds of May? She was stunning (and natural).

I loved Spiral. I always used to say it in a French accent because I'm pretentious until I found out it wasn't called that. Had a soft spot for Thierry Godard.

And yes, I'm not sure what "TV celebrity" really means either but it's an good excuse to reminisce about hot men.

Loved Spiral. Yes, the French title is ‘Engregages’ meaning cogs or gears but I used to call it ‘Speer-alle’ in a French accent. It was fairly gritty.
