What's new on Apple TV good enough to take up a 3 month cheap deal?

I had Apple for about 3 months last year, but found by the end of that 3 months I wasn't interested enough to renew at full price.

Have now been offered another 3 months at a low rate and wondered if there is anything new that has been recently added and is worthwhile.

I like SciFi (but not monsters, actual SciFi!) crime and detection, historical dramas, social and political thrillers. Have a bit of a humour by pass so not likely to respond well to comedies.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I have a few days before I have to take up the offer, although I see that on the UK web site it is offering 3 months at £2.99pm.

I liked For All Mankind and Defending Jacob

I loved masters of the air, watched it twice. Not sci fi but excellent, one of my favourite tv shows ever
and I loved the buccaneers and there’s a second series soon. Not sci fi at all, about American new money marrying English aristocracy.

For All Mankind is very good. We also enjoyed The Morning Show and Tehran
