So we're three days in Mickey Rourke has managed to insult: Jojo and the entire LGBTQ+ community Drag queens Patsy's cooking Donna's weight He's had a telling off from Big Brother re his comments and discussion of nominations Mickey has been nominated by Jojo, who had a killer nomination, and is the first housemate to be up for eviction.

Daley Thompson is immune from being nominated, thanks to Mickey. Trisha has a lot of stories Donna wears an LED mask to bed Jack P Shepherd has been mute 🤐 so far (as his biggest hater, I love it 🤭)

I’m a bit behind now because I had to watch Mickey & Danny a second time…fantastic moment.

It's like Micael & David are the two furthest ends of the teeth spectrum

Mickey just doesn't like women in think 😄, no way he'd be having his make up done by Danny if he was anti gay

I really want to like Angelica, but I don't think she's as nice as she makes out. Same for Patsy.

I am watching the show w interest myself & would like to see how it pans out. I understand that the whole thread shouldn't be taken over by discussion of the Mickey/Jojo incident but people, esp people who've suffered this kind of prejudiced 'joke' about corrective rape are entitled to voice why it's not acceptable.

Esp as this show has seen a lot of people defend Rourke's comments on wider SM w no indication of why they were wrong. In the US esp there is a rising tide of anti-woke stuff that is starting to morph into outright homophobia, misogyny & racism on many platforms, rather than opposing the excesses of idpol, BLM, & TRAs.

I think Mickey's definitely a misogynist, hence my earlier comment about wondering which woman he's going to pick on next. He gets on well with the men.

To the people defending Mickey, could his offensive behaviour be due to head injuries from his boxing career? I think most Boomers would know that corrective rape jokes are unacceptable. He himself said he has worked w many kinds of people & knows what is OK and not OK. But does he? He certainly seems to be leading a strange & isolating life.

I don't think she was best pleased when Danny said he used to love watching her.

It seems he’s never had good quality & equal footing type relationships with women. All a bit dysfunctional.

Did anyone else notice the editing when Chesney was talking about his Drugs Hell? As he said ‘it’s not like I was waking up under a bridge or anything’ it cut to Mickey shuffling out of the diary room looking dishevelled as usual. It was hilarious. And I like Mickey but it was funny.
