Woo hoo Matteo’s back in the game!

Apart from the Jakub result, I'm not that fussed by the rest now. I wish Matteo had won .
Alex Eala has had a great tournament- I just can't warm to Jess Pegula, no idea why. I can see a straightforward win for Aryna in the final- after IW, she won't want to lose this one.

I'm a bit worried about Grigor against Djok in the next round- he won't want to withdraw, but he's obviously at his limits.

Such a shame about Matteo, it looks like it was a very close match. And, he’s beaten Djok recently, whereas Taylor has never beaten him. Sigh.

Also disappointed Matteo is out. Not that bothered about anyone left in now. Might watch the women’s final if it’s on at a convenient time but won’t bother with the men’s if Djok is in it.

I noticed that Djok’s weird ex agents (who lived in his house) were in Matteo’s box

I saw he was wearing ice filled oven mitts in between points, which Martina said was really smart (but I don't want to give him credit for being smart).

I was half score watching the Grigor /Djok match- and for a bit. it nip and tuck- but Djok as gone ahead now.

So booo.

It is super windy in Miami, I don’t think Grigor is coping well with the conditions. Also, some guy heckled him from the stands and had to be thrown out by security. I can’t be bothered watching the second set.

Pfft - Djok is already too farahead in the second set for me to care.

Grr. I’d love Jakub to win the whole thing.

Fritz might beat Jakub though- and then fall apart in the final.

That’s my prediction, Fritz to beat Mensik in a tight match then get beaten in the final fairly easily.

Interesting, Daria Kasatkina is naturalising as Australian and will represent them in tennis going forward.
