I don’t get this with Tracey. She lives with her vet sister who (theoretically) should earn a fair whack. She’s also a lone parent to a young child so should be getting a big chunk of UC etc. I know she’s not getting CM from Nate because he’s fish food but even so. I speak as a lone parent (carer for a disabled child) who has a reasonable income and a mortgage with a part time job. I think they should be more realistic with things like this rather than her stealing from her employer.

@TheFormidableMrsC unfortunately soaps never hear of benefits. I don’t know about Eastenders because I haven’t watched it for a long time but in Corrie, you have Chesney, Gemma and the kids in the terraced house with no mention of benefits like UC for them. They just struggle with shifts in the pub and kebab shop so I’m guessing it’s the same in Emmerdale

If Eric is going through the shop's accounts, how can it show that they're doing so well (thanks to Tracy supposedly) yet her stealing about 2K doesn't show up? I wouldn't credit Tracy with being a financial mastermind.

Surely anything owing on Suzy's phone would come out of her estate? It's certainly not up to Tracy to settle it. Vanessa is an awful character - moaning and moping around and never appearing to do a day's work.
