I think Tim is having major regrets taking part in this. He is awful and can't work out what he can do to not come out of it looking terrible.

This happens in every series though- there's always a couple who are completely not each other's cup of tea and one half of the couple just can't bring themselves to pretend it's all ok. Tbh it is better that it happens at the start rather than the tortuous stringing along and then dump a week before the end.

I can imagine!! And a teacher as well! He comes across so badly but I think it's totally out of fear. I can't fathom why he thought it would be a good idea to go on the show if he hates people delving into his relationships.

It’s not the fact that he’s not into Katie that anyone is kicking him for. It’s his abusive treatment of her as a result, which is entirely his responsibility and no edit required.

I won’t say much more in case people think spoilery but there’s an interesting (and no spoiler) interview with his best man out there which shows how this affected his relationships in real life.

I think Katie had been broken before the show. And I do think she put her trust in the experts to find her a match. If that was me and the groom took one look at me and decided no spark I don’t think I’d with as much dignity as Katie has.
