The matcha log confused me. Why a log? That doesn't scream Easter to me. And why did nobody pick up on it not tasting of matcha? Or acknowledge that it didn't taste of matcha but then order it anyway. I said to DH to avoid the horrible green colour I'd have marbled a stronger matcha mix with plain white chocolate so it wasn't a uniform plain snot colour.

Re Easter Ed. Just strange. They got an apparently great tasting egg and made it look like crap. That was what spoilt their chances. If it had looked amazing the buyers wouldn't have worried about the confusing kindness thing.

I reckon Jana worked out the value of the free advertising via the BBC versus the £££ he was losing every day he wasn’t working and walked when he reckoned he’d got the most bang for his buck.

I think jana likely walked cos the whole racism story would have followed him so decided to bow out and hope it could be swept away.

Jana would've known he'd lost at the point he quit because Suralan had already brought up the 80k vs 150k exclusivity deal with the other team, so he knew they had a minimum of 80k orders. His team only had 9k orders. They might not know the exact figures until Tim and Karren's reveal but he'd have known he was nowhere near 80k.

I thought it strange how the focus was on the muddled kindness branding. Surely the appearance of the egg and the packaging to a lesser extent was what persuades you to buy it when it's on the shelf. Who cares that the kindness theme in a pitch wasn't reflected on the packaging. The egg itself looked a mess that was the problem.
