I didn't expect Kier to go and I had a vested interest as he was mine in the office sweepstake.

On TAYF the crowd voted overwhelmingly for Fred as HIRED, and for Keir to be FIRED.
I didn't think he came across too well, he just couldn't admit that he didn't do a good pitch.

Apparently, according to the tabloids Keir and Amber Rose were spotted in a hotel room in Cappadocia, which breaks an Apprentice rule. Guess that is why they were put on opposing teams, perhaps whichever of them was on the losing team had to go. In a Daily Mirror article Keir said that in a bit that didn't make the edit, Lord Sugar asked Frederick if he wanted to bring Keir in and Frederick declined. After that, he was fired. Keir didn't mention the Cappadocia situation, but I bet that is the reason.

For someone who pushed to be PM, Jordan seemed a bit clueless once he actually had the job.

I did think Frederick was quite good when he talked about children like himself who had no financial education. But realistically those kind of parents aren't going to be giving their children this app, are they? That's really the flaw in the whole idea.

I think you have hit the nail on the head that the rule breaking was taken into account.
Judging by the sun burn this task was very soon after they got back from Turkey so fresh in the mind.

I think Keir had to go, for the reason in my post above - relationship with Amber Rose. However, I think Lord Sugar likes Dean. He does like a cheeky Londoner. He let Tommy Skinner through week after week, and I think Dean is benefiting from the same lenience.

Will be interesting to see how much longer she lasts in the process..

My friend who was watching with me said "Is Keir ill?" Looking back, he was very lacklustre in the task, and showed little interest until his chance to pitch. Maybe he knew that if they lost, he was going. Perhaps Amber Rose will go when her team loses. I will watch with interest to see if she is pushed.
