Average life expectancy with early onset dementia is 8-12 years. And it’s a terminal illness so he is dying. I think he also referring to the changes that will happen beacause of the illness will erode who he really is

Yeah I don't have a problem with Nigel saying he's dying. We also don't know exactly what the doctors told him or how advaned it is already.

It will kill him though, even if it can be rather slow. It's a horrific illness was where he will deteriorate into nothing. I don't think he was exaggerating at all; it would be hell for anyone to have to come to terms with a diagnosis like that.

I can’t stand ruby the actor or the character. Hope she effs off soon, Stacey very sweet allowing ruby to hijack martins death but she should really stand up for the needs of her kids and if she can’t she should get someone else to step in on their behalf

I don't really care that Martin is dead.
He's been this dopey filler character for ages -bouncing from one woman to another a bit like Daniel on Corrie.

His best time was his friendship with Kush and the bromance, brilliant times.
Now half the square are mourning a man who had kids here, there and everywhere.

Let's not forget Sonia and Bex, as Sonia rightly pointed out. They all loved Martin. It's not often I like Sonia but I did the last couple of episodes.
