Heading into February 2025. CORONATION STREET THREAD. **NO SPOILERS PLEASE.** :)

January flew by in the blink of an eye
Leanne and Steve are getting close
Cassie is drugging Ken day after day
Dose after dose after dose

Abi witnessed Mason's very sad death
She's struggling to keep it together
Carla and Swain are still an item
I wonder if they'll last forever

Bethany and Daisy are always at war
Over Daniel I know what a surprise
Gemma and Chesney are off on a trip
And Nick and Toyah are making us roll our eyes

Kevin may have cancer that's all that he needs
But Tim and Sally seem sound
Amy seems troubled I hope she's OK
And with Leanne and Tracey, mischief is abound

David and Shona are always on their toes
Scared of Harvey's heavies coming at them
Eva has left, will a few more will leave soon?
Will things be quite different by the next full moon?

All the old regulars don't appear much these days
Or any funny storylines or good feeling
It's just like The Bill with all convicts and thugs
And crime and violence that just leaves us reeling

Daisy is pregnant but who's the daddy
She doesn't seem to want to know
I wonder if we'll ever know or she'll keep it a secret
Now that she's decided she is going to keep it!

DeeDee's still pregnant I think but she's gone quiet
Lauren's been cleared of her 'crime.'
Debbie's still sassy, and Ronnie's still sexy
And Kit is in Corrie all the time!

Is Alex still helping in Roy's cafe?
Is Toyah still in hospital?

The Daniel:Daisy:Kit baby scenario can't go on forever surely. Trying to think how Jenny may secure the money she needs to pay off Carla elsewhere.

I have to say I did laugh when Amy commented that Tracey was checking for updates on Rob and she said she didn't want a murderer running around or something like that........eh has she forgotten she's a murderer 😮

I felt sorry for Ken, he would have been devastated when he realised Cassie was robbing him blind, I'm glad she was arrested I can't stand her.

Dylan should have shut the feck up, and what's going on with Sean's hair, it's very strange looking.

Re the pub was it not that the brewery bought the pub and wanted to turn it into a sport bar so Jennie and Daisy either left or were sacked while the renovations went on. They then stole the money from Carla and bought it back?

I've been waiting for Cassie to be found out and I'm glad it was Ken that brought about her downfall.
Jenny wants it both ways....have Daniel pay off her debt to Carla and still keep ownership of the pub!

Cassie is/was a nasty character but in my opinion Claire Sweeney played her very well. If she leaves the street I'll miss her. 😁

Evelyn has gone AWOL though while at Uni 🙄 so will the writers bring her back at all during the latest shenanigans?

Cassie has been arrested, Ken has had a procedure.
So back to police station, hospital, and Dylan in prison.
Maybe Julie will go to visit Brian in the Kabin? Maybe someone will go to the florist? Maybe Dr Gadass will stop house calls and people will make appointments at the health centre.
Deedee will have to represent Cassie, because Adam won't. Unless her mum takes on the case.

I really didn't get Sean's reaction to Dylan's 'longer' sentence. Yes, it's double what he expected but it's only 6 months! The fact he'd have only got 3 months for supplying the knife that killed someone, with a previous knife related incident is a joke. I'd have thought even 6 months is getting off lightly.

Sean was quick enough to take the moral high ground and drag his son to the station... but seemingly not happy for him to actually get punished and blaming Adam for it 🙄

I'm glad Ken finally figured out what Cassie was doing.
Daisy should tell the truth, I don't like Daniel much but it's not fair to let him believe it's his baby.
Suppose we're now gonna get scenes of Dylan in the unit being bullied, sick of those kind of storylines

Dylan needs to tell the new bullies that he's inside for his part in killing his previous bully. That should help.

I can also see why Sean got narked with Adam. Aren't defence lawyers meant to prime their clients to avoid the pitfall of admitting to more serious crimes?

I do recall him having a job as an environmental officer after that and he said he dealt with hotels.

I did gip when he complained about hotels washing sheets.

I would not wish to visit a hotel that does not change sheets, especially the Chariot Square - we all know what goes on there.

🙏🙏 We can only hope. Perhaps that's the spoiler PP saw earlier that they said they were looking forward to. Sean can't cope with the fact Dylan has been imprisoned in the Outer Hebrides and decides he'll have to relocate there. Forever.

Wouldn't his Mum have been at the sentencing? I don't think she has even been mentioned.

Good point. During the last knife episode, she turned up all guns blazing demanding to take him back to London. Now something even more serious has happened and she's nowhere to be seen 🙄

That episode wasn’t too bad, but how is it than we can never have an episode without multiple hospital scenes AND someone getting arrested /charged
/sentenced.

At least the Cassie con has ended. Claire Sweeney has been great but if they wanted to redeem Cassie and the viewers to like her, conning a 90 year old was not the way to go about it. Why was she arrested for drugging Ken but not for stealing his money?

I agree Cassie didn't do anywhere near enough conning to make losing that job worthwhile. But I guess that is the way she is, scam first, think later.

It would be nice that Julie is staying if there wasn’t a miserable reason for it.
