I do sometimes wish I liked mushrooms, because some of them look quite interesting

I know people who live in Glastonbury. They'd be more inclined to slap the founders with an asbo than call them a Great Briton.

PotterHead1985 · 06/02/2025 20:15

Why is he stirring those mushrooms with a tuning fork

Trying to make sure the right notes come through?

I wonder if the hotel laundry handed Andi someone else's clothes for the last two nights and now she has got her own stuff back.

(That actually happened to someone I know who was on holiday in Switzerland. She sent off a load of her clothes to the hotel laundry and got back the clothes of a middle-aged man who must have been getting on for thirty stone. It was resolved ..... eventually.)

I like beetroot but I think I would be disappointed with a plate of it at a banquet.

Sunbird24 · 06/02/2025 20:23

Feedback is all a bit muted so far

Michael wanted more mousse, they want less or none. Poor fucker can't get a break there

Cookingdoesntgettougher · 06/02/2025 20:27

Looks like the 6s were accurate. Everything punchy tonight.

EsmaCannonball · 06/02/2025 20:28

A dish named after someone called 'Tatty' should involve more tatties.

PotterHead1985 · 06/02/2025 20:34

Ah jees tom it isn't Ralph!!!

Sunbird24 · 06/02/2025 20:38

love seeing a normal plate rather than a block of box

EsmaCannonball · 06/02/2025 20:41

When someone says something like 'Can you pull out my jugs?' you really start to pine for Gregg Wallace.

Saw the cheese sauce

Saw the cheese sauce

Cheese sludge on the plate more likely. It looked like slop, odd as it was aerated

littlbrowndog · 06/02/2025 20:46

It looked like glue

EsmaCannonball · 06/02/2025 20:47

I think Amber's pudding looks beautiful but in the past the chefs would have made that entire book.

Given that this competition is pretty tough, I wonder if Michelin-starred chefs are more reluctant to risk their reputations on it these days.

EsmaCannonball · 06/02/2025 20:51

I actually really like the whole look and sound of Smug Nicholas's dish.

I think you could be onto something. Also I’d expect for a banquet competition a pastry kitchen if I was putting my reputation on the line. Maybe the producers think it’s exciting to see things going wrong.

littlbrowndog · 06/02/2025 20:53

Andy looking very swish

Sunbird24 · 06/02/2025 20:55

Think Amber might win this one by not many points
