Talking of Dan, and excuse me if this was discussed in a previous thread, does anyone else think he was banished, not because everyone thought he was a Traitor but because they just didn't like him?

I'm pretty sure this is what my husband has been doing for 25 years.

Leon was interesting last night - first one to do the Harry successful strategy of deflecting when suspicion was levelled on him.

The others just defend themselves too much and risk being the last one to be talked about when they vote which is never great.

Trying to decide if minah's recruitment is sensible - I think people will assume there's been a male traitor so if it comes to an end game I suspect Minah could stay under the radar

I think Minah really needs to start thinking more about the end game now (assuming she’s not already, as we only see a limited amount). She really needs to get there with one more Traitor who is more obvious than she is, and break up any established cliques / duos, I can’t see this lot voting to end the game until there are only 2 players left.

Yes. That's definitely the best strategy. It's much easier to convince someone of a positive than a negative.

So if you're suspected, it's harder to convince someone you're not a traitor and easier to convince them that someone else is.

Yes @samarrange I think you can definitely get banished just because they don't like you!

I’m less than 24 hours late watching, and you’ve filled 30 pages! I’m never going to catch up. And I won’t watch tonight so I’ll always be behind. I’m going to have to dip in and out and hope for the best!

Dan was banished because he was uber rational and didn’t grasp when to stop strategy and gaming and be real. They were shocked by his ability to compartmentalise and felt that made him untrustworthy. Bless him. He was a bit shocked by their reaction.

My prediction is that it will now become more difficult for the traitor(s) to murder exactly who they want. I think there will be more opportunities for people to fight for their survival. Otherwise we really will get stuck with the dregs at the end and it won't be nearly as entertaining.

I wonder if you could play the game as a Traitor, at least in the very early stages of when there’s a lot of players, of just murdering at absolute random. I mean no strategy at all just “today we murder the person who sat in the chair on the far left of the breakfast table” or “today we murder the first person who spoke at the Round Table”. Would be interesting to see people casting around for patterns in the victims, as is human nature.

Obviously as the game goes on you have to get strategic about it, but could be fun I think!

Evening. For once I haven't got a theory on who will be murdered and who will be banished next. It's starting to get slightly more interesting.

Have I got time to make a fruit salad before it starts I wonder.

That would be ideal in the earlier series, but they seem so inept this time that I don't think they've really discussed anything about who's been murdered. They could have announced a correct prediction to the group every evening and I'm not sure even that would be enough for them to be suspected.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but does anyone think Alexander is like an upper class Mark Wright? Bit of "posh totty" as early 2000s mags would have called it...

@CaveMum to continue from above, I'd be tempted not to change the method of selection to see what happened. Maybe the first person to vote every day (or something not re-filmed in various orders). Maybe people would focus on not being that person instead of who's a traitor. Then after a while when people have noticed, you could suddenly change the method
