More of a gritty drama than a soap

When I watch Corrie on catch up I always have to put the pin in the Virgin remote, despite it being on before 9.00. Reason being adult content. Yet never have to for Emmerdale. How does that make sense.
I’m open minded and have worked with kids who have been in crisis, dealt with social services, police etc when I was safeguarding lead in a high school. But I’m gobsmacked that ITV aired that so early.

7.00 was ridiculous for that content

I presumed it was a miscarriage. She said she felt it kick which I think from memory was about 5 months

Surely she's only a few weeks pregnant. I thought a still birth was when the baby is born deceased at a much higher gestation.

I thought a miscarriage too but I’m happy to be corrected if the baby was still born and the bump was quite big

It might be well acted etc but it's too early in the evening.

She’d only just felt the baby move that day. In a first pregnancy that’s usually 16-18 weeks or thereabouts. The poor little mite wouldn’t have taken a breath at that stage. Unless the terminology has changed in recent years a loss before 24 weeks is classed as miscarriage.

It was far too early in the evening. If they really wanted to do it they should have put it on at 9pm with a contents warning.

Sorry I was going by what the metro said. Seemed a rather large baby for 15-16 weeks but I'm going by other shows.

The baby in her bag looked quite big ..I was shocked 😮…it’s not for early evening TV and the story has blindsided us as no clue/hint she was pregnant …

When she was in the taxi I thought it may turn into a grooming story or something it was all very grim and awful …but not for Emmerdale or 7pm ….who is coming up with this?

They seem to be bombarding us with si llmany issues in the storylines atm - most of which have come from absolutely nowhere.
I can't remember the last time there was anything remotely happy.

Hi, I usually just lurk on this thread (which is great by the way!). The reason you have to put the code in is because on virgin it records five minutes over the time which takes it past 9pm watershed.
