Even the presenter has given up and is now saying 'click' 😁

I noticed that too. I said to my family oh fab Ed is saying it properly but then joined in with the others 😂

If you watch closely Alexander asked for Fozia's lefthand card ( which was death) and she gave him her righthand card which was life! Is it poor editing or a fix?

It depends whose perspective you're looking from. It was the left from his direction, I think

Alexander is playing stupid I reckon to stay under the radar for now

I agree.

I stumbled across them on the official Traitors webshop (I was looking for a cloak but they're out of stock 🙁). They're by Oddballs and are cheaper on the Oddballs website.

I've got them. The bra top is soooo itchy!

roibustea · 10/01/2025 23:41

Definitely liking Minah, she's a really good traitor - and I don't mind seeing her getting Linda to do all the 'risky' work as she never has any opinions, and now she's relying on Minah to protect her after her silly performance, so she should do something useful! Hoping Fozia goes as find her really bolshy for someone who's only been there five minutes. And I quite liked Leon, though he's quiet - although didn't like his tantrum about being called cliquey, so I won't be too upset if it's him. Happy Alexander is through, for obvious reasons! This series does feel really staged though, which is a shame.

It's Ed's show - very diplomatic of him to join in with their mispronunciation rather than persisting in correcting their error, which could have made them feel uncomfortable during a live broadcast. It is his job to put people at ease during the programme. Well done Ed.

WingingItSince1973 · 10/01/2025 23:45

I really don't understand Frankie getting that upset over Dan choosing her then lying about it. They are all in it to win which will involve lying at some point. It wouldn't bother me if I was chosen. Maybe it's just me not getting it. They are getting so emotional over things that don't really matter.

APushbikeNamedReluctance · 10/01/2025 23:46

That was a cracking episide from Linda's performance at breakfast to the four freezing fairhfuls at the end.

All I want to know is:

  • Why did Alex name come up so many times? What have we not seen?
  • how was that card game to end?
WingingItSince1973 · 10/01/2025 23:47

@tailinthejam I know it's Ed's show. Just tickled me how he changed the pronunciation of the word.

Ace56 · 10/01/2025 23:49

I don’t understand how a traitor could have been part of that card game. Claudia made a point of saying to the 4 of them that a traitor might be amongst them, which makes sense, as otherwise the 4 of them would automatically know each other are faithfuls. But if the traitors had nominated themselves, what would’ve happened if they had been the one to lose? Or would Claudia have turned round at the final 2 and reveal that one is in fact a traitor, so the other one automatically dies?

Equally why on earth would a traitor have nominated themselves for it? It was made clear that one of the 4 would die, so what would be the draw for a traitor to be part of it?

tailinthejam · 10/01/2025 23:49

That Ed is a smart cookie. If they ever do a celebrity version of the programme, I hope they ask him to be on it.

Apparently they're filming one this year!

YesYesKitten · 10/01/2025 23:54

Ed looks like he reads from the autocue/ cards in his hands a lot - his delivery isn't natural.

Whoarethoseguys · 10/01/2025 22:40

Last year one of the traitors (Paul I think) went in the cage as they thought it would put the others of the scent.

There were 2 traitors in the dungeon last year. Paul and the woman, can't remember her name.

But he says 'your lefthand card' It's done my head in - I've replayed it twice 🤣

I have loved all the series. The UK version is the best.

I actually really enjoyed the New Zealand version. There was a good mix of ages and personality types.

However, NZ seems to be a small place as they all seemed to have met before the programme!

And be asking for handwriting samples!!

Saw on X a bright spark spotted Linda’s incriminated herself. She writes old-fashioned ‘z’s (with a tail), and she wrote Fozia’s name down at the round table as well as on the grave pic.

fairydust11 · 11/01/2025 00:08

Just caught up.
Such a shame Frankie had to moan about who chose her in the game at the round table. If she hadn’t Linda would’ve gone!

I wonder if the faithfuls aren’t supposed to know that the traitors nominated the 4 death match players?

Tallyrand · 11/01/2025 00:11

I'm wondering how the card game finishes.

Surely if both players only have 2 cards then whoever goes last will win automatically?

They'll know their own cards, if they have the life one and the other player takes it, they just take it back. If they have 2 deaths, if the other person gives them a death card in the initial swap, they just pick the other card as it has to be the life card?

placemats · 11/01/2025 00:15

Put two cards on the table, one death, the other save. Ask who will go first to pick a card.

xsquared · 11/01/2025 00:17

Precisely! Frankie wasted valuable time for catching a traitor when she brought that up! The heat was on Linda and she inadvertently steered the conversation away. This helped Minah massively though, because Dan having nominated both of them to not have the shield without admitting it, meant that Minah can also hide behind the same reason as Frankie to be pissed off with Dan, and look less of a traitor.

Claudia was right though. He was a strong faithful and he was so close. Yet Dan's own double betrayal helped Minah take a step ahead of him!

MrsPeterHarris · 11/01/2025 00:17

Lentilweaver · 10/01/2025 21:40

She really is - love her! She's a deserves winner!

The participants in the card game were just told that a traitor could be among them. But Minah and Linda were simply told to pick 4 faithfuls for potential murder. They were NOT told they could choose to participate themselves. So in other words, the 4 faithfuls playing the card game were lied to purely to stop them all thinking they are all definitely faithful.

I think this was very weak and I'll be interested to see how it pans out.

Also thought the scenes of Fozia pacing around outside the library were very silly and insulting to us viewers.

A poor episode. Hang on in there Linda!
