Tonight's acting was abysmal, even by EastEnders standards. Vinnie and Nugget were worse then usual (Vinnie on the phone to Eve was bizarre, it's as if he couldn't form his words). Ravi was pretty terrible too (and I usually think he's pretty good): the shaking hand, the crying in the rain, " he set me up, din e, din e, Denise".

The voting idea is ridiculous. However (despite today's crap acting) I will be voting Ravi because I can't stand Uncle Jack.

I thought that was a really difficult scene for Ravi and Denise, it barely made any sense. I thought Eve was pretty terrible tonight too, although being required to act as if your wife's dying because she has a nosebleed is a big ask.

Hardly 40th Anniversary worthy is it 🙄

The only love triangle there is Jack, Jack & Jack.

I've been saying this, the new set they've got feels like a set rather than the authentic Albert square feel the old one had

When vinnie was talking to Eve it was like he was translating what she was saying from a different language, I'm guessing it was supposed to be that she was rambling but it didn't work

The vic scene was weird 'right come on who clobbered Cindy?'

The whole episode was strange yesterday
A kind of ' death in paradise ' meet up in the big ( but nobody confessed or knew who did it ) and the ramblings of Ravi to a mute Denise
He should listen to Priya more

It's interesting to see a vulnerable side to Ravi (shown by the tousled hair look!)

Will we have the option to choose neither Jack nor Ravi for Denise? She deserves better than those two!

Whoever we choose for Denise won't last anyway. Ravi is too young for her.
Jack is boring and she was sick of him plus he had a fling with Stacey.
I agree that it was probably Martin / Ruby / Stacey but Stacey needs time out and Ruby is doing a stage show!

Honestly disappointed at the proposed love triangle.
Even Kathy, Harvey and Jean would be a more riveting prospect! 😁

Denise has always attracted the badduns. I think Kevin Wicks was the only "decent" man she's ever been coupled with, and even that's a bit of a stretch!

Kush was the best guy Denise was ever with.

The scene in the Vic was a bit Death in Paradise who dunnit scene. Obviously, it wasn't Junior now he has apologised!
Him and George lurking around the hospital is ludicrous.

The Dee/Ravi/Jack&Jack vote is too obvious, and I couldn't care less, but Scott Maslen seems a bit full of himself, so he will be gutted if he doesn't win the public vote.

I think it was always going to be the Denise triangle, they wouldn't let viewers vote on anything important or interesting! I can't stand Jack but I think I'll have to vote him, because I don't want Ravi further delayed from getting back with Priya.

80s you are so right re Death in Paradise, that was so weird! As if anyone is going to stick their hand up and say yes Elaine it was me.

I liked Kush, shame he was killed off.

A much better episode today.
Finally Nugget gets told a few home truths - go Priya! ( I really like Priya, I hope she gets some good storylines this year)
And George getting put in his place too - go Elaine!

But how ludicrous that Phil is giving half the Boxing Den to Nige. As if 🙄

Why is Phil giving everything away - first he sells Peggys (never understood why he did that) and now he's giving half the boxing den to Nigel?

Gawd only knows Shelling, but I tell you what, when I move into The Square, I'm going to forget any notions of getting myself a job.
I'll just befriend Phil and within 2 weeks, I'll be the owner of the other half, plus The Arches if I play my cards right.

I really like Prius’s reaction to Nugget’s outburst. She has definitely grown on me

I wonder if we are going to get evil Nugget, potentially an incel type storyline. He has always been an outsider and that outburst about Priya’s clothes was awful, albeit she dealt with him well
