It's all so seedy and ridiculous. Guns, shovels, lovebirds, Denise so desperate for a shag her tongue's hanging out. But a Nigel and Norma romance will cheer things up.

Shelling . Ruby was busy with Roman up the hospital over Christmas, but she may have found the bracelet in the snow after the event.
I can't remember if she was wearing it or not , only the locket.
It must be significant though as we watched her putting it back into her bag in a box.
I still think she might try and stitch up Stacey again , but nobody believes her much anymore.
Am at a loss with it tbh !
( as I am by most of the stories !!) lol
People are convinced that Kojo hit Cindy , but I really don't know

Why isn't Nigel's wife coming down to see him ? Have they split up ?
Norma seems lovely. Might be a bit of light relief from shovels and mysterious jewellery

I don't think she knows where he is.

80s Cindy was constantly fiddling with the locket wasn't she. We couldn't see her wrists, she was all bundled up in a fur coat. I suppose Ruby could have found the bracelet at a later point.

I agree, Nigel's wife has no idea where he is. I liked Norma, she seemed very down to earth.

That shovel is a bit harder to conceal than the turkey thermometer, and no chance of putting it through the dishwasher😆

I loved it when George took the shovel off in a black sack that was shovel shaped.
I liked Norma! Maybe she'll cheer up misery guts Phil too, but he'll probably stare her out or just be rude :(
He'll be livid to find his gun gone as Cindy is bound to break in.
They never did put that thermometer in the dish washer did they ? .. lol
Isn't Gina living with junior ? I thought she did ?

Yes, Gina had moved in with Junior so she didn't need to go and stay with a mate. Unless she had moved back into the Vic at some point.

Who is looking after Ollie and Annie? Where is Johnny? The Knights have properly taken over the run of the Vic since Linda disappeared into rehab 😐

The Carter kids are rarely seen , in fact I had forgotten they exist tbh!
They were all out in the street today bickering about Freddie , yet Ollie and Annie are not that old and left alone so often it's a wonder they don't come to harm :(
Same with Albie and now Roman too

Must say that I'm glad Anna had the strength to not get back with that toe rag Freddie. He is just as much to blame as Gina tbh. He obviously didn't think that much of Anna to have his head turned that easily 🙄

To be fair, Anna had binned Fred off at Christmas time and they are all single , but it was a bad thing to do to her.
Anna had cheated on Bobby with Freddie previously too! They are all going round in a circle
I bet Gina discovers she's pregnant.

Children are seen and not heard in EastEnders. Except that they're not even seen as they're flung into the kiddie cupboard for months on end.

Quite likely, as they never seem to use any form of protection on EE 😬 Anna's just recently aborted Bobby's baby. So now it'll be Gina's turn to abort Freddie's?!?

Writers like pregnancy for dramatic purposes or a ' whose the daddy ' but once they are past the baby born stage they are then left until they reach 11 or 12 or become 'off the rails' teenagers with some scope for a storyline. It must be a nightmare waiting for them to grow up !

Where did Gina and Freddie even do the deed?! It was Christmas evening so the Slaters had a house full (although I don’t really know where Freddie lives). Perhaps they tried the chippie or Beales Eels🤢

I'm sure I heard him say it was in his garage, when Anna asked him. Although no clue where that actually is 🤨

So classy these EE women. The Vic toilets, Beales Eales, Peggy's office, the Arches the fish n chippie (who runs this now Bobby has left? Ian is certainly never there) and now a garage of all places 😯

It's not like they have far to travel to get to one of their beds ffs.

They just can't keep their trousers on for long, can they? 😉

Just caught up and feeling nostalgic because of an in-joke said by Ian ("We don't need Sherlock Holmes and the Baker Street Boys to solve this"). Adam Woodyatt starred in The Baker Street Boys BBC TV show back in 1983, which I loved watching. Them were the days of childhood innocence when everything was so much simple!

The chippie runs itself like most of the businesses. I've not realized before how many places to eat there are on one square, yet you never see a delivery van!
Fred said they went to a garage , I did wonder if he meant the Arches ? That has had a few people in it for a ONS!

Gina surely moved out of Junior’s after she found out he’d been shagging her mum?

I don’t think Anna broke up with Bobby did she? She said something like ‘now’s not the right time’ because of the Cindy drama, which was fair enough. He was supposed to adore her so to go off with Gina on a whim definitely gets him in the bin. At least Anna won’t have to listen to him wittering on about birds any more.🐧😆

What the point in giving the shovel to the police?

At this point, if it went to court, it wouldn't stand up as reliable evidence because Anna, George and Junior AT LEAST have all handled it!

Anyone notice that Freddie didn't say sorry for what he did ! Gina did.
Anna did cheat on Bobby with Freddie in the chip shop once . but it's all relative really as people tend to 'partner swap 'a lot on EE !

I did notice that Freddie really did not seem very apologetic at all, he thought some smiling and wittering on about parrots would do the trick.

But… but… the donut!!
