Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

Nobody suspecting Reiss is (even for a soap) fantastical. This story is now utterly tedious and whilst I appreciate Natalie Cassidy wanted to go off and do other things, Sonia's time in prison has prolonged the story to an almost unbearable extent. I'd feel more engaged if I could empathise or sympathise with her, but nope.

Completely agree

Anna and Freddie are a fusion of lukewarm and tepid drips

Eastie77Returns · 28/01/2025 22:45

Ok, I’m leaning towards Kojo as the culprit. I’m thinking that when George asked Kojo to tell the police they were together at the time of Cindy’s attack, he was actually establishing an alibi for Kojo, not himself. My guess is that is the big secret he told Gina.

Harry blackmailing Gina makes no sense. He runs the garage and has a share in the bar…why blackmail someone he’s never interacted with previously for a few quid.

Surely Billy will contact Stevie to thank him for the money and then find out it’s nothing to do with him. Mo should have come up with a better story but in fairness it’s hard to explain how you’ve just got hold of ££££ in a brown envelope.

the80sweregreat · 29/01/2025 06:51

IF Kojo hit her with the spade , it's bound to be covered up and G will send him back to Ghana for a holiday.
I don't think it's him , but maybe G saw him looking at her or something and thinks it was him? When it was actually someone else

Zippidydoodah · 29/01/2025 06:55

I never thought of kojo being the one who hit Cindy, but that would make sense!

dysonwithdeath · 28/01/2025 18:10

Sonia would be guilty and Reiss would be in deep for jury tampering and witness tampering. Although maybe the solicitors lovely swishy hair influenced the jury as they couldn't concentrate on the case.

Oh yes, wasn’t she stunning?

heartbroken22 · 29/01/2025 07:02

I honestly thought Gina had slept with Phil Mitchell and that's why she was so embarassed 😂 but naah Freddie was worst. These people have no morals. Anyone would do. Could u imagine if it was Phil Mitchell and she had gotten pregnant? 😂

dysonwithdeath · 29/01/2025 07:04

What if Gina had slept with Ian Beale...

Viewer23 · 29/01/2025 07:09

I am struggling to find any sympathy for any of the characters at the moment except poor Bianca, Nigel and Phil - Nigel and Phil are both struggling with illness and Bianca’s been locked up by a psychopath but the rest of them’s problems are all self inflicted! Anna is such a hypocrite with the way she lashed out at Gina and lectured Freddie. She did the same thing to Bobby.
I want Cindy’s attacker to be revealed but quite frankly I have no sympathy for her either, she is still as self centred and manipulative as ever.

Shellingbynight · 29/01/2025 08:16

Ahh yes @Eastie77Returns
I’ve thought for a while it’s Kojo, because he is the only person that hasn’t had blame slung at him, he's barely been on screen. And the reason Kobina left him with George was because he had become violent and kept 'lashing out' and he couldn’t cope with him. I hadn’t thought of the ‘alibi reversal’, but that makes sense.

I liked Elaine’s speech to Ian, pointing out she knew he liked having Cindy beholden to him.

storminabuttercup · 29/01/2025 08:51

I find it really hard to believe Freddie would sleep with Gina and Anna in the space of a few weeks and also that he'd be able to act normal around Anna after sleeping with Gina it's not what he's like

lazymum99 · 29/01/2025 08:58

I think I must be very old fashioned but Anna and Freddie going from just looking into each others eyes and then straight to sex. Don’t people build up to this anymore? Also sex in your bedroom in family home with everyone milling about. Odd.

They slept together before though didn't they? On the chippy floor

Shellingbynight · 29/01/2025 09:16

Anna and Freddie have been 'almost dating' for ages so I don't have a problem with that aspect, but the idea he'd sleep with Gina (or Gina would sleep with him) is ridiculous.

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 29/01/2025 09:16

Barely any of these plot lines feel thought out

dysonwithdeath · 29/01/2025 09:21

Gina and Freddie have zero chemistry

usernother · 29/01/2025 09:27

Ruby coming out of McClunkeys, clocking Stacey and Martin. Who is looking after Roman?

the80sweregreat · 29/01/2025 09:44

Clearly Roman is enrolled in school or nursery already I suppose ! lol
How old is he ?

RedToothBrush · 29/01/2025 10:15

Stacey "I was married to Martin Fowler and let me tell you, he wasn't average".

How should we take that line?

What was she referring to?

And this doesn't rule out below average in multiple departments!

Shellingbynight · 29/01/2025 10:35

Martin is the definition of average!

I think the hospital said Roman was nearly ready for discharge, but he must still be in hospital as he is never with Ruby.

NowNumber5 · 29/01/2025 10:37

I'm a bit more cheered up after today's episode.
There were some cracking lines!

Anna - "You're just a boy, Freddie"

Kathy - "This is Cindy innit. Everyone's got a motive!"

Honey - "I'm a Mitchell. And you've been in prison a bunch of times, you must've learned something in there"
Stacey - "I've got half a GCSE".

Phil - "Mad women go running around the square with guns, it's usually me that gets shot".
Phil - "It's not that I can't help you Cindy, I don't want to. I don't like you."

😂😂😂

NowNumber5 · 29/01/2025 10:39

And that bloody snow shovel is this year's meat thermometer! 🤣

the80sweregreat · 29/01/2025 13:02

Stacey made a comment about Martin's photo for Mr January once! How fit he was or something.
Honey was funny as ' bad cop ' although the councilor wasn't impressed. She is only a Mitchell by marriage but she has some fire that woman. Especially when she is on the shots
