The six-part thriller follows a British and Australian detective who are forced to work together to solve the murder of a UK politician’s daughter in Sydney.

The new drama's lead star needs no introduction, John Bradley. Actor: Game of Thrones and as having had viewers on the edges of their seats for two series of tense thriller Liar and then Angela Black, Joanne Froggatt is back on ITV.

North Shore originally aired back in 2023 in Australia, but is now coming to UK screens at last.

According to the synopsis: "Set on and around Sydney Harbour, North Shore follows the clash of cultures when a British and an Australian detective team up to solve a complex murder mystery and uncover a conspiracy with international political consequences

Both more interested in money-making than No. 10, I think.

The acting is a but ropey but it's one of the better things on TV at the moment. And it's a bit of sun on a cold January so I'm happy to pass the time of day watching it.

There's never anything decent on Fridays on TV. Generally it's better on Saturday nights, but surely that's when most people go out? I know there's streaming and recording nowadays, but it's the way as long as I can remember that Friday night TV has been much worse than Saturday.

I just watched it . I didn't like it when they started showing dramas two nights running but now I find the once a week ones , like North Shore , are harder to remember !

I'm enjoying this. Some sharp lines in the script!

Am I the only one who really dislikes Abigail? She is so horrible to her husband, yet she's the one keeping secrets and starting an affair. I just want him to dump her and her little affair to be found out and plastered all over the media (her career would be finished unlike in real life).

Joanne Foggat is so wooden in this i think that might be clouding my judgement a little though. Her wailing at the coffin was hilariously bad and her cut glass British accent is just so drama school.

I like the rest though, hadn't realised the SIL's husband was Todd from Neighbours,completely didn't recognise him. And that the guy that plays Abigail's aide is currently in Home and Away.

Abigail isn't the most likeable character, but her husband is a shit too. And a crook.
