The call the midwife christmas special is on bbc 1 in 2 parts. The first part will be shown on christmas day at 20:00. The second part will be shown at 19:30 on boxing day. Series 14 will start on 5th January. I am suprised that it has not been renamed as the doctor Turner show.

Interesting about being on special transport for hours. When Wilf was away at school. We had a terrible escort. Twice she came with the driver and said she hoped he would be a good boy as she had a hangover! The second time I complained and when they next brought him home they screamed abuse at me in the street... I told them I wasn't brought up to behave like.them and walked into my house and shut the door.
I rang transport on Monday and told them Wilf would be walking to Kent before he got in a taxi with them again!!
