Tasha has fully embraced the style. Layton retained a certain amount of Layton and his signature moves throughout. That said, he was incredible and I didn't dislike him, just didn't want him to win the competition (I'd pay to see him on stage).

I do still lack something of a connection between them though. She is almost too neat and perfect that it takes something away.

I think Chris will win in part because it's so hard to split the others and there's not a clear other winner that's stolen the show as they have all been good.

Was the scarecrow thing on Halloween because he’s a Christian (he presents songs of praise doesn’t he?) so might avoid the spooky/scary thing?

I may well throw Tash some votes tonight. Doubt it will make any difference to the result but have bought them as a couple for 2/3 dances and for the first time - as a pp said, better late than never.

Tasha's waltz, thought pretty, was a lot more boring and predictable than JB's samba.

I agree about Tasha, I really like her as a person - I think she's lovely! But she's a trained dancer, and as Tess pointed out, she never scored less than 30 during the series. Although I LOVED her showdance I think were was zero chemistry with her and Alljaz, and I never felt inclined to give them any votes. I need a JOURNEY 😆
